Mafia Darling: The Kings of Italy, Book 2

The relationship between Fausto and Francesca was steamy and soooo good. It’s a good mafia read, not too much plot but enough to not be just spice.

This author has romance to a tee! She also knows how to weave in an engaging story keeping you on edge. Fresh, never boring, with ALL the feels!

So very good! Words can not even begin to describe how detailed and amazing this series was, I definitely recommend both book 1 and book 2!

While i still like the story, they both got on my nerves with their bedroom talk, Francesca was a bit annoying too. My fave part of the book was Fausto letting his son be free, that took a lot out of him, so that was pretty big. Can't wait to read the next one.

The continuation of book 1 Mafia Mistress and this time Francesca took charge. Fausto had to work to win her back with a little grovel and meaningful gestures. I liked that she didn’t give into him too easily and the story took its time with building their relationship on a deeper level since book one was more about their attraction and lust for one another. Now there was feelings involved and it did wonders to these two characters.Their connection and chemistry just kept getting stronger and hotter.Fausto’s son Guilio was a fab character and his friendship with Francesca was just as good as it was in the previous book. His relationship with his father also evolved and the final couple of chapters showed it beautifully.My only issue was the mafia storyline. It was so slow at times but thankfully the overall story overshadowed it.Mafia Darling was amazing and concluded Francesca and Fausto’s story very well. I’m definitely going to continue. I enjoy a villain getting a story and perhaps redeeming himself so I can’t wait to read Enzo’s book.4 La Donna Stars

I did not think the second book could top the first….. I loved being proved wrong! Nothing short of great!

I really didn’t want this book to end. I liked Fausto and Francesca story. There was so much push and pull with them. They both are seriously so stubborn haha.There were moments in this book that broke my heart and I was like no I this can’t be happening.. but there was times that I super mad and was like oh my come. I think the new characters complement each other very nicely. Francesca is one touch cookie and can really had it to Fausto. Which I loved seeing!I was very happy to see that though it was tough of Fausto to make some hard decisions he ended up doing the right thing and that right there was what drew me even more to his character.It was a great way to end the love story of Fausto and Francesca after the first book.

WOW! I could not put this book down!This book is 10/5 with spice off the charts!Francesca Mancini was sold to Fausto Rav, a mafia boss in Italy, to pay off her father's debt. She was initially sold under the assumption she was to marry Fausto's son and heir, Guilio. However, Fausto decided he wanted to keep her.Francesca is this sassy, feisty, loudmouth, opinionated, modern 18 year old; whereas Fausto is older, domineering, old school Italian, a-hole, but man does sex just oozes from him. These two are A LOT of like, only Francesca doesn't know it yet.What do I like about it? It's mafia, one of my favorite tropes. It had action, culture, drama, all mixed in with a forbidden love story. The mafia story itself was well written and kept me on the edge of my seat. The cliffhanger!! AGH!!I also like the age gap between Francesca and Fausto. It's not creepy in any way. Most of the time you don't even realize there is an age gap or the fact that he has a son the same age as Francesca.What's a romance book without the spice?!? The way the author describes the scenes, how they feel for one another, the way he makes her feel beautiful, the way she makes him start to feel a thing called love, the sexual tension, and the way he speaks dirty to her in ITALIAN. This duet gave me life. I fell so madly in love with Frankie and Fausto they are just a perfect mafia romance story.This book is full of angst and emotion, I loved learning more about the side the characters as well as seeing a different side to Fausto.After Frankie’s hard time in Siderno in the last book, she needs to decide if she can forgive and forget, or if that’s it. But it’s not so easy to runaway from a Mafia Capo like Fausto.Fausto has so much going on that he feels like a sinking ship at times, but can he stay afloat and fix his problems with Frankie. Only time will tell.Absolutely one of my favourite mafia stories, these two will have a piece of my heart forever.

Well both of these books took me on a rollercoaster.I've cringed at some of the dark scenes taken place in the dungeon, to crying tears of joy when the son comes out as gay and Fausto the father and Mafia Don let's him leave the family fold to forge his own life with the man he loves.At times I was trying to read as fast as I could just to get to see what happens next .Finding out who Fausto could trust and who betrayed him. Francesca getting pregnant by Fausto in the first book but he ends up kicking her out saying she has betrayed him because she kept his sons secret. He realises he made a massive mistake when she is kidnapped but this girl is made of strong stuff and gives him hell for it when he gets her back.A HEA but with a snippet of the next books to come out in August that involves Gia which is Francesca,s sister and Francesca,s kidnapper Enzo, should be an interesting read that for sure.

I enjoyed this second book as it gave the characters more development and had a more interesting plot than the first, or at least a plot outside of the romance.It was a solid follow up. I grew to like Fausto more in this book as well.Can't wait to see how Enzo's story is handled.

This series has had me hooooooked I read book 1&2 in 2 days I just couldn’t put it down!! Fausto has my whole heart watching him evolve into a softer man for his woman an children was beautiful & I loved the topic of accepting his son is gay in a lot of mafia books it’s rarely mentioned so it was nice to read that gulio got his happy ending to .. can’t wait to read more from this author

I was introduced to this author and I love the dark theme with one of my favourite couples of all time.The story is filled with food ole banter from this strong heroine and her alpha male Fausto, the conclusion was well deserved.
