I bought this for my Grandson. He loves all fish.But, it did not come with real directions on how to put it together. After I connected the wires inside the fish, I could not figure out where to put the wire out. I came out through the teeth, but really would have liked to 'fish' the wire out towards the tail. But there was no hole. Anyway. It looks great and I can't wait to give it to him.

I was really impressed with the look and quality of the lamp itself but I cannot get any other bulb to work with it other than the one supplied. I just saw that another reviewer had a similar experience which confirms that eventually I'll have to rewire it myself. That's too bad, i would have easily given this five stars if it didn't have that issue.

I ordered 2 lamps for Christmas gifts. The overall lamp is sturdy and I really like it a lot HOWEVER, this lamp does not plug into a regular electrical plug. it has a USB cable and has to be plugged into a computer or something that can charge it. This information is there BUT it's at the very end and small writing - for this gift to be given, I had to order an additional USB plug for it to be plugged into wall. I also do not like the white cord with the stainless steel creature - looks like crap. The maker at leasts need to include the wall plug and make the cord a color that doesn't pop so bad. I'm sending one lamp back and trying to locate a black cord that can be utilized for the one I opened - I may send them both back.

I love this prehistoric fish design. It was easy to assemble and makes for an interesting piece on my table. The bare lightbulb, tho, is annoying for the way it shines in my eyes when I watch tv. I will have to put it behind my recliner so I can’t see the bulb so it kind of did not fulfill the need I bought it for. Still, I love that lamp for the novelty and creativity of it.

This is USB connection only , and wired hap-hazardly at best.Other than the supplied led light, I cannot figure what other type of led to use, none of my MANY other led lights work.This is yet another one of those "would have been nice if ..." cheap and shoddy made in china things., poorly made and fittings do not fit ( screw in ) properly.

Purchased the larger size and I’m glad I did.Very unique piece and I always get questions about it.The one problem I do have with it is the light will move around too easily.It came be forced into position which I don’t recommend but other than that one issue-it’s a great piece!

The media could not be loaded.  This lamp is quite unique but not the quality as shown in all the photos. There are not as many teeth and the brushed metal looks cheap. I had to bend the fins back into place when it arrived. It is easy to put together but the spring for the light is NOT adjustable, as stated in the description, it just loosely flops around. Still is cool to look at, but falsely advertised in the photos and description.

I liked the look of the light but the bulb is too big and the stand is too small the slightest bump makes the lamp fall over
