     Everyone who sees it comments on how clever and real it looks. Been coal fire 21 years, house move and an old fire so I bought this! Fire no more ashes it's awesome.

well i bought this second hand for £100 and its well worth it it dident come with the remote so had to fork out another £16 for a replacement remote mine was originally a chrome colour but resprayed it a gold colour i even sprayed the hood from black to gold one thing to mention when you buy this it comes with the coal effect bed but i bought a log replacment set as the coal effect looks so dam fake it has holes all over and you can see the insides of the fire if i was you i would buy the log set from amazon or ebay its meant for a nother dimplex electric fire but fits the danville perfectly i really dont understand why dimplex doesnt give you the option for the log set instead of the coal effect bed i orso bought the COMFORT SMART CRACKLER box for it and connected it to the fan so when the fan clicks after 30seconds the crackler starts making a crackling sound for a more realistic log fire effect

The colour is very disappointing because it's DULL. Also some of the rubber around the coal effect is coming off bit by bit. I wish I had returned it but it's too late now. If I was to buy another fire it would be from a shop rather than Amazon because I am a 71 year old woman and would have found it very difficult to return at the time.
