It's very poor quality. So thin that pins go straight through to the wall. **Q: Would you be able to remove the frame from the board? I want to fabric cover the cork board, paint the frame, and then reassemble** A: It's realły flimsy... I doubt if if it would stay in tact as this is a very cheap frame. I bought it to cover in Fabric, but it needs a tonne of batting as the cork/cardboard is so thin. If you definitely want to take apart, this is not for you I'm afraid. **Q: Do you think this would be a good board for pins?** A: Is not the best but will handle it :) I used pins on mine but you need to be careful with the wall behind. **Q: Will a 42 x 59cm map fit on it?** A: The dimensions are 40cm by 60cm so you will loose 2cm off map ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Organize and Display with Ease! *by P***I on 22 July 2023* The Q-Connect Lightweight Cork Noticeboard in a size of 400 x 600 mm offers a convenient and versatile solution for organizing and displaying important messages, notes, and reminders. It has been hanging for months now and I've not had any problems at all with it, plus it looks great in my home-office. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cheap and cheerful but does the job for light use only *by S***H on 12 December 2020* I now have two of these. One arrived in perfect condition, the other had a very slight warp in it as the corner wasn’t quite perfect. But at just over a fiver I wasn’t complaining! It’s so light weight that I decided to hang it with a few command strips (one medium strip on each corner did the job) and this also meant that it took the warp out too as it was attached to the wall properly If you’re looking for a solid sturdy cork board to regularly pin and un pin things to it, I’d say move on and buy something a little more solid as it’s pretty thin and don’t think it will stand up to much abuse - plus the pin would probably stab through and damage the wall behind) But I used it to attach a wall planner which will only be replaced annually so for me it was perfect! Long story short - if you’re looking for a light weight, light use board, this is the one for you. Heavy, constant use? move on and buy a thicker sturdier board elsewhere Hope this was helpful ## Frequently Bought Together - Q-Connect Lightweight Cork Noticeboard 900 x 1200 mm - Exacompta - Ref 14769E - Push Pins (Pack of 200) - 7mm Width x 10mm Height in Size - Suitable for Pinboards or Corkboards in Offices, Homes & Businesses - 5 Assorted Colours --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sk/products/50281274-q-connect-lightweight-cork-noticeboard-900-x-1200-mm](https://www.desertcart.sk/products/50281274-q-connect-lightweight-cork-noticeboard-900-x-1200-mm) --- *Product available on Desertcart Slovakia* *Store origin: SK* *Last updated: 2026-10-09*
