VivobarefootTracker Decon Low FG2, Mens Hiking Boot With Barefoot Firm Ground Sole and Thermal Protection

As someone who wears only minimalist barefoot shoes for every daily activity, it's always exciting to add a pair. This is my 3rd pair of Vivo's specifically. Also have the Geo Court 3 and Gobi 3. Of all of the shoes I own, these are, by far the best for every activity aside from something more formal. Glove-like fit. Fantastic tread. Feel very durable and made incredibly well. Easily the most stylish and well built show in my collection.The materials used in this shoe are top-notch. Great leather, Merino blend mesh. Rubber seems rugged. Stitched outsole. Thermal insole. Nice pull-tab. Every single part of this shoe screams quality.One other thing to note is that the laces are non-functioning. Yes, they are elastic. Yes they tie. But, no, they do not serve much of a functional purpose. The internal sock is what locks your foot in place.If you are new to barefoot shoes, I could see this being a nice transition shoe. Maybe not as good at that task as something from Lems, but nonetheless excellent due to the stack height when taken in it's totality.If you are a full barefoot convert, this is also a great shoe. Mostly because it is so well built it will shock you. No shoe I own (Vivo/Lems/Origo/Xero) are as deceptively and objectively as special as the combination of fabrics and functionality this shoe brings. Just fantastic.

My first barefoot shoe and I have to say, it works muscles in my feet that really needed it. However, my only issue with it is that it lacks enough airflow for summer use and it does not have the best insulation for cold weather. So, this is an indoors shoe in my opinion.

Packs very small, great for driving for flying, very well built but does seem the tread wears fast

Bought these on Amazon because they were an older model and cheaper than on the Vivobarefoot site. My son has wide feet with no arches (flat footed) and his secondary toe is longer than big toe. Kinda hard for him to find a shoe that felt good and didn’t further damage his feet.I decided to buy him these before we visited the podiatrist again. They were $130, but still cheaper than a doctor’s visit.Well he absolutely loves them. They are the most comfortable shoe he’s ever had! I warned him that they may feel weird and maybe even hurt for a few weeks, as his foot got used to being in its normal state. They didn’t hurt him at all. He took to them immediately.We’ll definitely be buying another pair.

I only bought the shoe a few months ago and it’s already fallen apart, The color has started coming off the shoe and is not even wearable anymore. Not comfortable to wear after 7 mths

Roomy toe box for sure. It can be a bit warm, even with thermal insoles removed during sunny seasons. Otherwise, great for winter.

look nice as normal shoes, ppl dont notice them, less slippery than the previous models by far, but still slightly more slippy than im used to.Not as wide of a toebox as hoped, and in some areas the quality could be a bit better.The shoes are wearing down faster than expected, and are wearing down to the seam along where the sole meets the shoe rest, so im worried about them coming apart, and the underside knobs are wearing down faster than expected too. Might last a year and a half maybe 2 tops with my regular use.Still think they are worth it at the current price.

Super Schuh! Sofort mein Lieblings-Vivo geworden. Reinschlüpfen und sofort wohlfühlen. Ist wortwörtlich ein Schuh zum reinschlüpfen: sitzt sehr stabil wie eine Socke am Fuß und die Schnürsenkel sind eher Deko. Gutes Barfußgefühl, allerdings durch das Profil etwas geringer als z.B. beim Gobi III. Guter Grip der Sohlen, außer auf sehr glatten und naßen Oberflächen, wie poliertem Stein oder Marmorfließen. In Verbindung mit Wasser ist die Gummisohle totz Profil EXTREM rutschig! (z.B. in Lissabon, mit seinen Calçadas Portuguesas im Winter bei Regen eher abenteuerlich). Das ist aber auch schon mein bisher einziger Kritikpunkt an diesem Schuh.
