Great value case, difficult to fault
Nice case. The Pi (3B) sits really snugly in the lower tray and access to the microSD slot is good. The upper half of the case fits well and clips on/off easily whilst still being firmly retained. Unlike acrylic cases I've used, the case material between the USB connectors is in no danger of snapping off unless you handle like, well, a gorilla(!) so I have no qualms about occasional disassembly and reassembly. The cutouts to allow access to the GPIO, CSI and DSI ports are sensibly sized if you're planning to use them - if not, this probably isn't the case you should be looking at. The fan supplied is very quiet - I thought I'd mis-connected it on first power up until I noticed the very slight vibration. Whether it's more effective than a simple copper heatsink remains to be seen, but I thought I'd give it a go since it's good value even without the fan.The instructions provided with the case and on the website are a bit sparse, but frankly they don't need to be much more detailed. The case is in two pieces, there's only one way round the Pi will sit in the case, there are two different sized sets of screws (clue: the long ones with the nuts are for the fan) so it won't take long to work out. The fan cable follows the colour convention of red being positive, so goes to pin 4 on the GPIO connector - about the only thing they don't tell you is which way around the connector goes, but even then you can see the picture on the website. If I had any gripe at all, it's that the fan cable could be about half its length for the sake of tidiness, but that's really pretty trivial. All in all, very happy with this. Delivery (with Prime) was bang on as usual.

Nice case, but using a Gorilla copper heat sink (without the fan) is a cooler option!
It should be noted that the Gorilla case with the 5v fan cannot be used with a Gorilla heat sink. Saying that, I soak tested my Raspberry Pi 3 B+ in this case with the fan, and also without a fan using the Gorilla copper heat sink. The temperature of the CPU was less using their copper heat sink i.e without a fan! It's a nice case with good ventilation including access to the GPIO. I also use the Adafrit PiUART console in this case (drilling a hole for the microUSB port.

Quiet fan, sturdy case, recommended if you don't mind the open GPIO part of the case
I now have three of these, have been impressed by how quiet the fan is. One of the three was supplied without the rubber feet but the vendor sent these separately when I contacted them via Amazon. The case is sturdy and the SD card can easily be removed. There are no assembly instructions but it's pretty obvious how to assemble from photos on line. The fan has been keeping my Pi CPUs much cooler, they would previously occasionally overheat when running Kodi even with heatsinks installed, but now the temperatures are nowhwere near the overheating limit. In my case the Pis are out of the way so the absence of a cover for the GPIO pins is not an issue. However, if you plan to have the Pi on show, the absence of a clip-on cover is a shame. The hole in the top for access is helpful when assembling as it means you can ensure the power cable for the fan is not obstructing anything when clicking the case together, but as a I say, a cover would be a nice finishing touch. Otherwise very recommended.

Top notch box for a kodi pi
Using my pi as a libre elec box, when syncing the emby library from nothing they can get a little hot. This box and fan fit perfectly with the gorilla pi heat syncs they make and the combination does the job perfectly. The fan itself is silent until it's mounted on the case when the vibration does cause a little noise. Simply mount it with cardboard or rubber washers to ensure silent operation. I'll be getting another pi for our living room too and I'll buy this box again. It's well made and good quality, ships fast and works well for what it was designed for. Cannot rate more than 5 stars unfortunately but for the low price you get a good product

Great Case, Keeps Pi Cool
Case is fairly robust and does not obscure access to any of the ports - the cut out also means you get reasonably good access to the GPIO pins. Only niggle installing it is to take the SD card out otherwise it will not fit - it can be replaced once fitted with easy enough access to remove it.The fan does a good job of keeping it cool - I do not have heat sinks attached and you would need very small ones to fit under the fan. The fan is relatively quiet, some would probably still find it too much to have in the bedroom however. Its leads to the fan block eight of the GPIO pins.

Great case, fan got noisy with age
Despite some GT85 application, the fan on this case got gradually noisier the longer I used it, I gave up using it in the end and found a different one. The case itself is fine, a kind of shiny black plsatic, quite hard, takes the knocks quite well. Still going strong with my Pi 3B+ now motoring away inside it.

Really good quality case at a decent price
Really good quality case at a decent price. I got mine for a Pi running Plex, so it's operating 24/7. I'd not had any problems with overheating, but better safe than sorry! My only reasons for not giving 5 stars are the same as other reviewers: A cover for the GPIO pins would have finished off the look better and the lack of any instructions. It's pretty obvious how to it goes together, but I had to look at the Customer Q&As to find out which pins to use to connect the fan.

Great quality, easy to set up and cool as a cucumber... Kinda.
Great little case, fan is near-silent. The fan also helps weigh the case down a wee bit as the pi is very light and doesn't like to stay flat when it has a couple of cables in it. All it needed was some instructions on which gpio pins to attach the fan to.I bought some heatsinks separately and, combined with the fan, they have managed to get the temps from around 60°C to around 40°C under normal usage.
