Sorry I don’t know what the “positive care” brand is. All I can tell you is this works well on our dog, it seems to soothe any cuts and scratches that he has had (even a bee sting), which stops him licking and chewing it. It comes out as foam so you just need to aim and squirt.

What if my other dog licks it?

Shouldn't be a problem as my dog licked it himself with no ill effects.

Can you use it on a dogs paw pad

I’m sure you can but they will probably lick it off I found good old sudocrem after all the lotions and potions I’ve used over the years a good barrier cream for lots of bumps and scrapes etc. Although my dog actually thinks it’s a treat and think it tastes good! If they have a spot that is constantly breaking down you need to break the cycle so wearing a sock if tolerated or a blow up collar till it doesn’t bother them any more
