Clover Protect and Grip Thimble: Medium, Pink, 1

Excellent would buy again

Wow I did think I’d have problems wearing this thimble but no I forgot it was there. So comfy to wear and great to use. As a new hand quilt sewing lady I would recommend this thimble to everyone . It arrived early and securely packaged.

I bought this as I was fed up of my silver thimble flying off under furniture all the time and thought the silicone would adhere better to my finger. It does, but is thicker than the silver and whilst it doesn't slip off my finger, it doesn't side beneath the fabric either. Also, it was expensive for what it is. I shall persevere for the time being as I have yet to decide which is more annoying; crawling under the table for a flying silver thimble or rucking up material that fails to glide over the silicone?

a replacement for my other one which has finally worn out. The most fantastic thimble for hand quilting, or any sewing really. the silicone makes it very comfortable and grips the thread so well, and the top makes pushing the needle through quilts effortless.

I absolutely love clover products because they are brilliantly thought out, and they are the best quality product for people who hand sew. I do a lot of hand sewing and at the moment I’m hand quilting and need a thimble to protect my finger. I can’t use normal thimbles but the clover ones I can become they have a soft silicone cover which I hardly notice on my finger. The metal end tip catches the needle in the right place, and with the dimpled base, the needle sits in the right place for how ever you sew. I have tried so many different plastic and metal thimbles, but I can only ever get on with the clover variety. Please note with the clover thimbles that they come in different colours. The colours represent different finger sizes. I have an average size fingers so the pink one does me fine. I do find if I’ve been stitching for hours, the silicon becomes even softer and a bit bigger on my fingers, also the same if I’m stitching outside in hot weather, but I can still use it, it’s not such a snug fit which I like.

This is the only thimble I can used, it's soft and comfortable to wear and the silicone allows me to grip the needle as well as using the end to push the needle through when I'm quilting.

Another good thimble. I find my finger gets a little sweaty, so i pop it off for a minute and cut some fabric or similar. Thimbles are so very personal and this is good but I find myself wanting to put the metal tip at an angle. but light, doesn't catch the thread and worth persevering til u get the technique right. I do like Clover products.

When sewing for long periods of time, which I do because it brings enjoyment, the most important thing for me is to have a thimble that fits right and is not giving me issues that would discourage my sewing. I bought this, and the yellow one in the same brand and style, which is slightly smaller, to be sure to have a good fit. Still, the rubber at the bottom is a different experience, which I not always find is welcome. It makes my finger sweat slightly and it becomes sticky. I have dozens of thimbles around in my many sewing boxes, and I only reach for this one when I cannot find any better.

Der Fingerhut ist sehr angenehm zu tragen. Der beste Fingerhut den ich kenne, es ist schon mein dritter und da ich eine Nickelallergie habe einfach super !!

I love these thimbles for hand sewing. The price is way too high but it still is my favorite.
