At first, I thought the same thing but it turns out they just weren’t installed properly.Make sure all the tabs are securely in place, then go around the entire edge to double check. Even a small gap can affect performance.Once fitted correctly, I can say with 100% certainty that they fix the internal bump issue and actually work better than the standard pads for noise cancellation. The hardest part is just getting them on right, but once you do, they’re perfect!They also feel a lot more comfortable and don’t seem to heat up as much over long sessions.
