Verbatim DVD+R DL 8.5GB 8X with Branded Surface - 50pk Spindle

My 2009 Sony HDD/DVD Recorder is very temperamental with the type of discs that I use and most of the previous brands I brought have all failed on finalising or stopped mid-recording so have been looking for discs that I can use with no problems and these Verbatim DVD+R DL 8.5GB 8X with Branded Surface have worked perfectly so far.📀👍😀 PRICE - I am happy with the price that I pay for the Verbatim DVD+R DL 50 Spindle Pack PURCHASED I have purchased three 50 spindle packs so far from Amazon and am just coming to the end of the first pack and not one of the discs has failed. 📀👍😀 AZO RECORDING DYE 📀📀📀📀 Each disc has Verbatim's advanced AZO recording dye so it optimizes the read/write performance so I think it is because of this that the discs have worked perfectly in my DVD Recorder. 📀 ☑️✅ - I have not tried using these discs on a computer high speed double layer CD/DVD writer PLAYBACK: PICTURE 📺📺 👍 AND SOUND QUALITY🔊🔊👍 DVD RECORDER/DVD PLAYER: The picture and sound quality is outstanding when played back on my Sony HDD/DVD Recorder and other Sony Blu-Ray/DVD Player. 👍😀📀 PC: When played back in my HP computer CD/DVD Writer/Player the picture quality is quite grainy but sound is perfect but I am not sure if it is because it is a computer drive or if it is the software I use to play it back on. I would definitely recommend Verbatim DVD+R DL 50 Spindle Pack 📀✅☑️👍😀

This is the second spindle of dual-layer DVDs I've ever purchased. The first one I ever bought was Kodak-branded, and approximately half the discs were failing to burn and coming out as coasters before I returned the rest. That really shouldn't have surprised me, though - I had been purposefully looking for the cheapest DL discs available to buy. And I got exactly what I paid for. This is the opposite of that. These are easily THE most expensive DVDs one can buy. Just about every other brand still selling DVD media today would sell you a spindle of 25 DL discs for around $30, but Verbatim demands $50 for the same count of discs. But that extra $20 comes with a guarantee - I have not had a SINGLE one of these fail to burn. I've gotten coasters, sure, but always attributable to user error. I've used about half of the spindle and have yet to be let down. I am curious about the other brands currently being sold on Amazon - primarily Optical Quantum and Smartbuy. I've bought BD media from those companies and been very satisfied with the results. Once I run this Verbatim spindle down, I intend to pick up some Optical Quantum DVD DLs to see how they compare in reliability. But if you don't want to take that gamble, and peace of mind is your top value, Verbatim is definitely the brand to go with (for added peace of mind, do what I do and only burn with ImgBurn, and keep your burn speed at 6x or below)

Can never have enough of these for burning backup ISOs. Discs are either scratched or lost over time and never a waste.
