Visually great, not Lego quality
It's a great set, especially for the price I paid, about £55. At full original price (£70) gets a bit pricey. If it was original LEGO, this set would cost twice, but the quality would be 5 stars. It's visually great, but the pieces don't close perfectly together, no matter what. The result is a bit wonky when you see it close. One of the connection between the carriage already broke TWICE even if my son barely used it (it's more like a display model) or with very light use like pulling and pushing the train (which should be considered). LEGO engineers would have thought of a better connection, stronger one.Recommended for the price, but I still wish LEGO made one.

Underground train.
Loved making this underground and have put it on a shelf on display. It is great value for money and a must buy for any train fans.

Perfect gift for little train lovers
This CityBrix London Underground Model Toy was super easy to set up. This was ordered for my toddler who is interested in anything remotely involving transport.I was surprised this set included 2 figures. Although my toddler got out their other set of figures to play this train set with. The train carriages have removable roofs so that the figures can go inside. The train set appears to be made very well and my toddler really enjoys getting this out to play with. This set has so far managed a few months with regular beatings from a toddler and it still looks like new.Overall, I am impressed with this set. For the price, it does seem a little expensive at £64.95

Looks good…….but
My 7 year old struggled to put most of it together as just doesn’t fit together easily. He loved it after it was all built but after 1 week of use all carriage connectors have broken including 2 of the spares they give you in anticipation they will break.

Looks great, but….
This review will make a lot of Lego comparisons because I guess most people have that point of reference.Bought this for my son as he LOVES Lego and loves London Underground trains, and there was sadly not an official Lego version of this. I don’t know why because a company like TfL would surely want the best quality associated with licensed products. It’s also strange that it doesn’t look like this manufacturer specialises in bricks but instead makes an all-sorts variety of toys and collectibles so again it raises quality questions.Anyway, for the most part the train is ok. Compared to Lego it really hurts your fingers to build. Sometimes the clutch is too tight and you have to really force the pieces together, the plastic somehow feels harder and annoyingly over time the clutch can slip here and there so you might find that after a few days you have to really force some of them back into place, like the roof tiles.I also had two only partially molded pieces in my package (see pic), which was a first for me. Both still do their job but it was weird having these abnormalities. Finally, what is indeed annoying, is the poor carriage coupling design. Lego uses magnetic coupling bumpers for the train carriages, but this train has these tiny hook tiles on carriage ends, which hook into a tiny Technic-like rounded 2-hole piece.Problem is, as can be seen from the other picture, it appears the strength of the plastic is pretty poor, and so within a week all of them had snapped, without the train really being crashed or bumped hard.It worries me that the plastic might be more brittle and we might see other breaks in future, either on the train or train tracks, but we’ll have to wait and see.So I’ve resorted to eBay to buy some magnetic bumpers that do the job, but it’s a bit poor that you might need to outsource some parts for this train to function properly, especially since it’s not a £30 train. One more thing is that the wheels don’t free-run very well, and can feel a tad stiff on the tracks. Not yet sure if this can be helped but it’s noticeable.Having said all that, it does look great and my son does love it so it’s not a total wreck purchase.

Fantastic Build with Exceptional Quality, Perfect Gift.
I purchased the Officially Licensed London Underground S Stock Train Brick Set as a Christmas gift, and it was a huge hit. This set is highly interactive and perfect for children, encouraging creativity and problem solving skills while being a ton of fun.The build quality is robust and the bricks are compatible with other brands, which is a huge plus. The design is incredibly detailed, from the driver’s cab to the bogie system it’s clear a lot of thought went into this set. It’s also easy to assemble, thanks to the clear and concise instructions, making the process enjoyable for both kids and adults. As a gift option, this is unbeatable. It’s unique, educational and appeals to both train enthusiasts and collectors. For the price, it’s excellent value for money.I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a fun, educational and well made toy or collectible.

Good.
Fun and Detailed London Underground Train SetItem title: Officially Licensed London Underground S Stock Train Brick Set - CityBrix Buildable Model Toy for Kids and Collectors - Transport for LondonDelivered price with Prime: £69.65How is it packaged?: Retail BoxLovely set, really great design and presentation of box. Looks good quality but feels less so - as others have said I would iterate the brittleness and slight extra effort needed to fit and remove stubbon bricks.

iconic design
The set is a fun and unique building toy. The design is impressive, capturing the look of the real train ideally. The instructions are clear, and it was enjoyable to assemble the pieces. However, I did have some issues with the carriage connectors. They feel a bit flimsy, and they don't hold the carriages together as securely as I would have liked. The plastic quality of the pieces could also be improved, as some parts felt cheap and didn’t snap into place as smoothly as expected.
