Helix 45cm Tri-Scale Triangular Ruler

This is a great purchase, I bought it for the builders working on my extension so they can easily read off actual measurements. Works very well and would reccommend.

If you work in construction/architecture these are all the scales you will need.This ruler is easy to read and well made and will last you years.

The 450mm length is evident and fantastic on plans or A3 paper. Superb value 3 sided aluminium scale ruler.Vibrant colour coded sides and plastic end caps to protect ruler. 4 scales per side. 12 scales in total. 1:1 (full size) 1:2 (half size) 1:5, 1:10, 1:20, 1:50, 1:100 and more up to 12 scales. Professional ruler for Carpenters, Technical craft students and design office. The black calibrations are clear on silver backdrop. The most essential scales are on this ruler for construction details on drawings. Only scale ruler this length made from aluminium and value for money. If you want an imperial scale buy a imperial ruler. If you use metric buy this ruler. Not easy to convert scales and pointless.

Well made, easy to read, good value for money. Scales are painted on so could rub off hence 4 stars, but have had no issues so far. Couldn't find an engraved version for a sensible price.

Decent price. I wanted this to check a 'scaled' drawing, and then to draw my own. May come in handy again, if only as a general ruler. Until then it will hang up in the garage with the other tools.

Especially for model making, this is a wonderful ruler to have, and significantly better than the plastic versions that exist. The printing doesn't wear off, as it does on plastic ones, and the aluminium holds up well when used to cut with a scalpel - to scale!

I wanted to use this in combination with my cutting mat and knife. I probably should have remembered this detail from my school days but aluminium appears to be a soft metal therefore it is not ideal for using with a cutting knife as the ruler also cuts. I chose this because of the shape and I thought that it would keep my fingers safe if I slipped with the knife. It does the job perfectly for that purpose but perhaps a steel ruler would be better. It is not advertised to be used in the way that I have used it so bear that in mind when reading the review on this product. It is however a good quality item that looks to be well made. Use it for measuring and it is spot on!

Fantastic. Scale Ruler that takes out the guess work and maths when looking at plans. Study aluminium and clear markings.
