siku 3535, Volvo Hydraulic Excavator, 1:50, Metal/Plastic, Yellow, Functional excavator arm

I love this model. It is mostly made out of metal with the usual SIKU quality. The one thing I wish could be improved is the ratchet stops for the legs. They are somewhat loose and seem to be slightly different between each leg. If you are careful, you can still put them in any position.

My 4yr old loves this it’s strong and sturdy, quite small so not always tripping over it, moves nicely it’s perfect really.

I used to love playing with models like these when I was a child so I was pleased to see a model like this one available at a reasonable price. I bought it for my three year old son for Christmas and he loves it; it is one of his favourite toys.The model is well made, sturdy and accurately die cast. The only slight gripe I would have is that the tracks come off easily which happens quite often during rough play but otherwise, this is an excellent toy.

Very strong and very well made.

I choose 4 out of 5 just because the item is small. I think it is of very good quality but the smaller size make it difficult for the tracks to turn around while being pushed on a floor. It feels like it wont break too easily but I cant be too sure how much use my son will get out of it...I would make sure to buy bigger the next time to be honest.

An otherwise adequate toy is rendered almost useless and a cause of frustration by the loose caterpillar tracks which slip off the wheels whenever it’s pushed along any type of surface.
