Very useful
The adjustable bread cutter is a versatile tool that simplifies the process of slicing bread to your desired thickness. Its adjustable design allows for precise customization, accommodating different loaf sizes and personal preferences with ease. The sharp blade ensures clean and uniform slices, whether you prefer thin sandwich slices or thicker pieces for toast. Its sturdy construction and ergonomic handle provide stability and comfort during use, reducing the risk of uneven cuts or accidents. While some may find the initial learning curve for adjusting the thickness settings, once mastered, the adjustable bread cutter becomes an indispensable kitchen accessory for effortlessly achieving perfect slices every time, making it a valuable addition to any home baker's arsenal.

Bread slicer.
As I make my own bread, I purchased this item to slice my bread. The slicer is made of hard plastic and a bit flimsy, but easy to use. The hight of the slicer cannot be adjusted to the bread. A bit disappointed but you can adjust the thickness of the slice you are cutting. Not bad for home use.

Needs improvement but could evolve into a really useful bit of kitchen kit.
A good idea but a few things let it down - if you are cutting a standard 'tin' loaf, about a 3rd of the loaf juts over the base and onto the worktop, so a careful scrub of the worktop is needed before you start. Also you need a thin-bladed knife to get it between the plastic guide bars, and traditional serrated bread knives can catch on the plastic (you just need to be careful). On the plus side, the instructions said 'not dishwasher safe', so in the interests of scientific enquiry I popped the device in (top drawer) and it washed perfectly without deforming.I'd like to see a metal or wooden version that would be more robust, as I think using the knife may eventually bend or break the plastic guide bars. But as a concept I think it's worth pursuing as it makes cutting sensibly shaped slices of bread much easier.

Cheap and effective
It's a fairly simple construction but it works. It gives me thin slices for our home made bread which is all I wanted without spending too much.

Broken
One of the lugs was broken on the drop down section, so it kept falling away from the main body. I returned it, then ordered another one with exactly the same problem, they either sent the same one back or it's a design fault

Much Better than a larger wooden bread slicer
This works brilliantly when slicing soft bread you don't want to crush to a board as you slice it. It is a little bit too narrow for my favourite fresh Bloomer loaves but you are able to squeeze a loaf like this into the slicer. I did buy a much more expensive wooden slicer that didn't hold the loaves very firmly and broke the first time I used it. This is much much better. Highly recommended. No more flattened compressed slices of bread lol.

Useful bread slicer but small size
I bought this bread slicer to stop my finger being chopped off when slicing crusty bread. It is a little flimsy but does the job of protecting the knife well. Be aware though that this will only take a small size loaf and is not big enough for a large bloomer or large unsliced loaf. The gap where the bread goes in is 12cm wide and 15 cm high.

Great Idea let down by poor quality
The media could not be loaded. I've had this bread slicer guide for about 6 months now.The first problem I encountered was that the loaf produced from my bread maker is about 5 mm wider than what the slicer can take. I literally have to squeeze the loaf to force it in to cut. It would appear that the calibration of this slicer is slightly too narrow for bread making machines. With regard to bread thickness adjustment the first setting I find the bread sliced is too thin and the next setting is thicker than I would have liked. As a result I mainly use this unit for making toast. The plastic is brittle and within a few uses the knife guard broke on one side. I tried super glue but it didn't take well and eventually the other side of the guard snapped off.The unit is very flimsy and cheaply made which is a shame as the idea of it is good, especially if you bake all your own bread. The design could be so much better and so could the quality. I wouldn't buy another one of these knowing the problems I've had. Will just have to look for something that may cost more and is more robust, better designed and longer lasting.
