IRWINRecord IWTM140 Corner Clamp, Multicolour, 2in

Well made and robust, which is normal for something made by Irwin Record. The clamps come covered in grease inside a thin plastic bag, so upon opening the cardboard box they come in, you will have slightly greasy fingers.A quick clean with white spirit is called for before use (especially if wood is to be clamped in them) but for use with metal box section etc. just a good wipe with a rag will do. The grease residue will help stop them rusting over time in a damp shed etc.The two clamps are stated as having a capacity of up too 2", but the actual opening is 63mm (2.48" in old money) so something measuring 2+3/8" say, will fit easily I have found.These clamps are the smaller version of the two types available of course, so the 2" stated capacity is fair enough, as you wouldn't want to over stress them with a heavy metal frame.These clamps would be ideal for the smaller jobs in a metal working shop or for hobby use and you need 4 of them to hold a typical metal frame square and ready for welding/putting screws into a wooden one etc.I highly recommend these clamps for welding jobs using 1"-2" box section metal etc.

Very good i was after corner clamp which give me dead square for my projects and there it is. Pricey but good quality. Do recommend.

Cast iron and super quality but I had to return them as it was the wrong configuration for my use, I had to have the workings inside the cabinet at the top and not outside, shame as the quality is great.

They are easy to use and keep the frame tight, enabling the joints to be kept level and square

Very practical to have in one's toolkit.Handy for making raised beds out of battens.

Very well made as you'd expect from Record, needs a wipe down before use as comes with protective grease. Used for making picture frames, do note the iron can react with the tannins in Oak and stain, this can be reduced by waxing the clamp first and any stains clean up with wood bleach very well.

This item was ordered for me to use in constructing a number of sliding doors measuring ten feet high and ten feet wide, and what i got was two corner clamps ideal for five year old children to use when constructing small picture frames, not one of my better buys.

You can buy other corner clamps for much less that have more potential. While it is well and solidly made it has no real depth so it is only useful for things that have no real height.

el tornillo de escuadra o para hacer en angulo esta bien para mi es un poco pesado y sobre todo me parece caro

No se puede engañar sobre el producto vendiendo por internet.Yo lo compré por su robustez, ya que lo anuncian con un peso de 2,2kg ,cuando en realidad pesa solo 950gr..Hay que tener en cuenta a este vendedor para no comprarle mas.El precio es caro con relación a otros de su especie.
