This vacuum is AWESOME! It has great suction and all the tools you need (sore in vac). The rotating step vacuum is only powered by air from the vacuum but, it does a great job unless you press too hard. When you use the rotating step vacuum, the brushes for the main vac DO NOT turn off. You need to tilt the vacuum back to avoid wrecking your floors/carpet. All that being said, this is a great cheap vacuum and I would buy it again. It has 3 levels: high plush carpet, med carpet and bare floor. Easy to switch back and forth. The cord is long.

As someone who just moved into a new apartment and wanted it to truly feel like my clean, safe space, this vacuum was one of the best purchases I made. The apartment had already been professionally cleaned twice before I moved in, and I even vacuumed every room with my old Dyson because I have a bit of a clean freak streak and wanted peace of mind. I genuinely thought the carpets were spotless. Then I used the Bissell CleanView Compact Turbo. I wish I was exaggerating when I say I was horrified by what ended up in the canister. It pulled up so much fine dust, dead skin, and hidden grime that I literally had to stop and stare at it. The carpet looked clean, but clearly it wasn't. As gross as it was, it also made me feel so much better knowing all of that wasn't still sitting where I'd be walking barefoot and sleeping every night. If you're another girl moving into a new apartment and you're trying to make it feel fresh, clean, and like your own little sanctuary, I can't recommend this enough. It's lightweight, easy to maneuver, and the suction is honestly incredible for the size and price. This isn't one of those reviews claiming a vacuum "changed my life," but it absolutely changed how clean I realized my apartment actually was. It gave me real peace of mind, and that's worth every penny.

This is one of the best products I've purchased to keep my home pet hair free. My animals shed everywhere and this Bissell Vacuum has held up and has been easy to clean. Suction is great and provided you have it set up correctly it works on every surface I have. I also want to add that my original unit arrived with some issues but the customer service team was so amazing that I had to give it 5 stars. Great product and great support team. Strong recommendation if you’re looking for a reliable vacuum and peace of mind.

Update after Day 1: Small but not lacking Bissel power in any way! Very generous cord length - I used this for my hallway, entire bedroom and office and did not have to unplug it once when I switched rooms. It worked great on my wood laminate floors and all three wool rugs - and I didn't have to adjust the height lever, that's how powerful the suction is. This one is a keeper! Okay - this is Bissels "PlaySkool" version of a vacuum. If you have hard floors like mine and don't have time to sweep, this will do in a pinch. Works fine on my Jute rug as well. It is super lite ( 90% plastic). I bought it thinking I'd replace my grown-up model (see pic) but as you see, it will not. This vacuum is very small in both capacity and height. I am 5'2" and I had to bend down to push it across the floor, so taller folks should pass. We'll see how this one holds up...

Small but MIGHTY! Bissell has done it again! I couldn't believe how much suction power this vacuum has! There was so much dirt and hair in the dirt cup after only one pass! So 10 out of 10 for suction. Compact and perfect for apartments and area rugs, but also for bigger areas if need be, but definitely ideal for apartment living. This vacuum also maneuvers so smooth and the design makes it easy! Lightweight, so you can lift if needed. The attachments all work great, and I love the amount of reach it has! Also can adjust height level for different flooring, great for carpet and hard floors. Highly recommend!

Absolutely perfect buy. I have a husky, so it suction is very handy for his shedding. I love how light weight it is and the cord is the perfect length. Also the bare floor level is great for non- carpeted floors. The brush attachment is perfect for furniture.

I like the Bissell vacuum and it is supposed to be pet friendly, however, I do have a Labrador and they shed quite a bit. The vacuum does pick up. It’s not the work product, but on this particular model since the hair is light and weight, it fills up the top cup without going over into the main container of the vacuum that you empty., having said this, I have to constantly empty because it backs up so quickly down the hose and I have to empty 3 to 4 times depending on the room. For a normal size bedroom at least twice.. so it takes me a while to vacuum

Replacing my shark vacuum cleaner as it’s old and starting to lose suction. This Bissell is a little louder but it has great suction. It’s also lighter and more compact, which works well for me. Comes with all the attachments I need and at a great price.
