Can I use these for 38mm thick wood?

I used them for joining 18mm mdf to 18mm mdf to hold the shelves in on a small cupboard . So it would work on 38mm but they might not be man enough or you could put a lot more in .

Would these be suitable for 38mm cls framing? Thank you
