OutdoorBengal Houdini™ Escape Resistant Kitten Harness and Leash Set for Walking Kittens (S)

can't rate it yet because i can't figure out how to put it on. cat is squirming while i try to figure out how to put it on her. sharing advertisements about how great a harness it is a waste of space. i might be able to train my cat to go for a walk if i could figure out how to place the harness. Anyway, seller sent 2 mediums. one is going back. the other one is covered with cat hair because my cat sheds immensely out fear every time i go near it with the harness. no stretch. it might be lightweight and comfortable for the cat if i could figure out how to put it on. Very expensive. Maybe if it fits. It looks too small. I thought I ordered an adult and a kitten size. for such an expensive item instead of saying it's easy to put on, a simple diagram or suggestion abut how to put it on would be helpful.

So I was looking for a better harness for our kitten, she is pretty tiny and I am having trouble finding a decent harness that fits. I had hoped this was better than the last 2. I measured her and the kitten size was the the appropriate one, so I put it on her and it was a great design to get her into easily, adjusted to the smallest setting possible and it was loose but seemed ok, she walked around in it a bit and I noticed that her front left kept coming out of the strap, I fiddled with it and let her keep it on to see what happened, well before I know in the harness, not only was she not in the harness I have no ideal where the harness went. It is gone, well it is here somewhere but I can not find it, maybe it will show up. So very disappointed it didn't work, I may try to order another one when she is a bit bigger because it does appear to be a good design, just not right for a little one. She is a bit over 4 lbs 3 months old, neck 7.5", girth just under 11 so it really shout have worked?

Having tried 'one of the others' and finding it not to work....we got one of these. As they say, it is likely not escape 'proof' but it sure has a much higher chance of working as the cat will have a much more difficult time getting his 'elbows' under the belly strap. It will tighten some when the cat pulls and of course, as we found out the direction you allow the cat to pull is the secret to avoiding escapes. We want to take our cat RV traveling...I think this will do the job.

I like the harness and my cat could easily walk and jump as if she didn't have it on. However, it is not a 100% escape proof. I took my cat to a quiet park and after walking and observing the grounds for a but she walked under my car and pulled away from the leash and was able to escape. It was hard to get her out from beneath my car but I was able to do so and I ended our training session. Next time I'm going to put the harness tighter on her and we will continue to train at my cat's comfort pace. Overall it's not a bad harness but it is not 100% escape proof.

I bought the harness a while back but didn’t have time to try it on my kitten for walking.After wearing it inside the house for a bit (btw, super easy to put on) I saw she was comfortable with it and went outside.She was jumping and sniffing around as if she was not wearing it!I can’t say if it’s escape proof because she didn’t try to sneak out of it, but the harness looks very safe!The only think I don’t like it that it only comes on black… would be great to have more options…
