Sturdy

My little boy became obsessed with using out kitchen broom. It was a little too big and as you can imagine, all he did was cause chaos with it. So I looked for some smaller versions he could use. This set is great, the way they hook onto the stand causes him to knock the whole thing over (he is one and seems very excited by cleaning, god I hope that lasts!) and it is a shame the dustpan only fits with the broom., not the dust brush. But other than that they are great. Like all the Malissa & Doug products we have tried so far, they seem well thought out, and well designed with a classic twist. A little expensive, perhaps, but only the test of time will prove if it was worth it.

This is a really cute set of wooden cleaning utensils. I bought as a gift for my 2 year old grandson, who loves to 'help'! I think he'll love them. I got wooden ones as this is preferred over plastic, but the review is only 3 stars due to the price. £30 is very expensive for this type of toy.

Missing items such as the dust pan. Too late to return as it arrived on my nephew's birthday.

Arrived missing the dust pan AND the broom. Very disappointed. It was a birthdays present and it’s too late to replace now.

Fun to also play with using brooms/mops as a 'hobby horse', duster as a microphone.

I bought this set for my daughter when she was two. She is now 9 and occasionally still uses it. Even I use the pieces sometimes as well. The pieces are solid. Grown ups can actually use them to scoop up dirt from the floor. Very practical, good toy.

This toy is a blessing and a curse. I don’t get why kids love to clean but they do. My 2 year old loves this so much. She saw one at a friends house and it caused a fight over all the kids who wanted to play with it. Now we have our very own that kids love to fight over. With that being said, it is completely worth the price and teaches the importance of helping and cleaning. She loves to help mommy and daddy clean the house and we love encouraging it. Let’s hope it sticks as a teenager. This a great toy especially as a gift. The toy is a little bulky but the stand is awesome and sits nicely next to a play kitchen or a corner. Strong and sturdy and last through heavy play. I think this will be around for years to come!
