A really pleasant, nice quality Earl Grey tea.
I was already a fan of Earl Grey, but I'd never tried it with vanilla, so I was keen to try this Cream Earl Grey from Zyanna. The tea comes in a foil lined brown paper packet with a zip seal. Full brewing instructions and product info are printed on the back of the packet.First thing I did after opening the pack was check the quality of the tea leaves. The aroma was pleasant, and I was pleased to see a good amount of the trademark Earl Grey blue cornflower petals mixed into the tea. There didn't appear to be much filler material, like stems and sweepings, which is good.I was impressed with my first brew. I let it steep for around 5 mins, as per the instructions. The tea was a rich rust brown colour and had a good aroma - floral and sweet citrus notes over the deep, earthy herbal black tea scent. I'm used to the flavour of Earl Grey having the almost instant punch of bitterness from the Bergamot, but this is smoother, like the edges have been rounded off. The taste of Bergamot is still very much there, but it's creamier, as the product name suggests. I was expecting the vanilla to come through quite a lot, but it's subtle, which is good as it could quickly overpower the natural flavour of the tea, I think.I tried the tea bare and also with milk and found it to be pleasant either way. If you do prefer your Earl Grey very strong and bitter, then you might find it too smooth, but I liked it.Overall, this is a really pleasant tea. Something a little bit different from the usual blends, but still very much Earl Grey. If you're an Earl Grey lover, then this is well worth a try.

A lovely tea
I like herbal teas and drink green tea most days so this blend really appealed to me. I'm pleased to say I wasn't disappointed at all.It is a blend made up of green tea, cardamom, cinnamon, clove, black pepper, almonds, and rose petals, so quite a tasty ingredient list. The tea comes in a resealable pouch, but I transferred it into a glass jar as I wanted to keep it as fresh as possible. I have to say, it looks rather nice in the glass jar as you get to see all the many colours and textures that make up this blend. It really does look quite spectacular and it seems a shame to hide it away. When put into a tea diffuser, the ingredients expand quite a lot, which is nice as you feel like you are getting good value for money. And as for the taste, well, I found it to be absolutely delicious. I've been having it most days, and it has become my go-to blend of late.
