Does the job, but description in misleading.
I bought this hoping to be able to use it in my wellies, but the clips on the side protrude too much. They add at least 1cm to either side, so something to be aware of. The orthotic is better than the NHS supplied Boxia one in my slippers, but not in other shoes as it adds a fair bit of width to your foot. Now, the misleading information. The liner with the soft terry towelling that will not hurt your leg? That is actually the air bag, and no part of the softer cloth side touches your leg. I actually queried this with Konmed, as I assumed that it hadn't been sent to me.The search for the perfect AFO continues.

Great Product
Very happy, works well, a firm but comfortable fit, ordered XL, found a little wide for some footwear, best support had in a long time.

This is good product
I used it to steady the ankle when walking. I like it and this is the second one I order.

Bulky buy smaller than shoe size recommend
Air bag cushioning stopped working first day now causes friction ruining what otherwise is a good product as with all medical products well over priced for what it is.

Good fit and easy to use with everyday shoes
Good product but spoilt by the plug in ankle straps. Why the fixed portion rotates is totally beyond me but makes it unnecessarily difficult to fasten.

Much better than expected ..
I,ve tried numerous AFOs, probably every version on the market and ended up using a Turbomed which is great but bulky and probably too rigid for my purpose. I saw this and thought I’d give it a go to see if it was a better option when wearing a sandal which the a turbo med is not great for.I,ve worn it for a couple of days around the house, normally I don’t wear any at home and found it very comfortable in slippers, in the past year Ive had two falls resulting in fractures due my lumbering gait.I have a taken a couple of short walks outdoors and been pleasantly surprised that it’s as comfortable as the Turbo med but not as supportive or rigid which for me is probably better as walking felt quite safe and I could feel muscles working that I haven’t used for a while. I’m size 9 uk so got XL and it fits my shoes ok..I,ve worked out that with the little balloon pump it’s best to attach it before putting on the brace as it’s near impossible once it’s on your foot.

Once on, very comfortable and effective for my foot drop, very difficult, however, to get on.
Comfortable once on and pumped up.I have quite broad feet and found it extremely difficult to get on, even after buying new shoes a size bigger, also the pump to inflate inside is very difficult to manoeuvre and activate.Once on a very worthwhile piece of kit although it can be uncomfortable after several hours continuous use.
