Used the supplied cleaning cloth (its a gentle acid bath for removal of light water spots and deposits, if there are any on the windshield) anyway, as directed, to ensure proper application. Easy to apply and does work. I dont know about the longevity of this product though as its only been in service for a few months. They suggest using two cleaning cloths per windshield - I used only one and am pretty sure that just one is all you need unless its a huge windshield or you are slow to clean and the cloth dries out mid-cleaning. The kit comes with two cleaning cloths and is intended to do only one windshield but there is plenty of coating solution remaining to do at least two more windshields.
