It does fit!
Since other reviewers pointed out that the cooler doesn't fit, I decided to write this review to clear things up.This cooler seems to be made to fit both LGA115X and LGA1700 (but it only comes with the LGA1700 backplate). The screws might not align at first, but they can be pulled outwards to make them line up properly with the screw holes on the backplate. The cooler itself is very well made, and the fan is pretty silent considering its size.

Screws move to support LGA1700 hole position
I can confirm what others have written: this cooler arrives with screws that don't seem to line up with LGA1700 hole positions, but the screws CAN be pulled slightly outward on the cooler mount arms so that they align with LGA1700 positions. A little finger wagging at SilverStone for badly documenting this, but the product works as intended.

Fan is a different size than LGA1700 Bracket it came with and LGA1700 punch outs in the Motherboard
I am sure this is just a robotic packaging process error, but the fan does not fit the motherboard or the LGA1700 bracket mount that goes under the motherboard that it came with. But at least the mount bracket is correct that it came with. I am wondering if this is just a packaging error at the factory, since no one else is complaining on here about this. The spring loaded screws do not set into the holes on the bracket, if you line one up, the other side doesn't align. I tried multiple 90 degree turns to ensure it wasn't just a 90 degree offset issue, etc. It is just a different shape.

fan does not fit with mounting bracket
I bought two - one came with no problem but the other the fan doesn't fit on the motherboard or the LGA1700 mounting bracket that goes under the motherboard it came with.UPDATE:I wrote directly to the manufacturer. They responded quickly and objectively. The fan is designed for use on LGA115x, 1200 and LGA1700. The screws adapt to both measures. Apparently, during the QC process it is not required that the screws come from the factory to the size of LGA1700 and nowhere is it seen or indicated that the screws are mobile. The product is for 5 stars. I'm giving it 4 stars because due to poor documentation, I wasted 3 weeks buying and returning the same item over and over again.
