As soon as it arrived, I put it to work. 2 long legged spiders, 2 flies, one honey bee, all safely sucked up and released outside within 10 mins! So glad I bought this as I've always felt guilty sucking up spiders etc with the house vaccuum , as they don't survive that. And if you happen to have a bit of a phobia about insects, I think this is a great piece of equipment for removal of those creepy-crawlies without stress. I noticed on the reviews that some people said it was not powerful enough. Don't understand that, as mine sucked up the offenders with no trouble!

**Q: Is this noisy? And do you have to keep the gadget running until you are able/ready to release it? What if you can't get outdoors immediately??**
A: No, it isn't noisy. And, yes, you can keep the suction on if you want to but it isn't necessary because you can put the cap on the tube. Once the cap is on, the insect can't escape until you are ready to let it go. So, if you are upstairs, for example, you have ample time to get down to the garden and release the bug wherever you want to.

**Q: Is the suction good enough? Some reviewers say it's not.**
A: It works OK, apart from the very thin legged house spiders, who are usually sitting on a fine web, which makes it difficult to suck them up, but move it around to break the web and up they go. On the thick legged large bodied spiders and woodlice, no problems. You can't expect a Dyson for £12

**Q: Would this work for cockroaches?**
A: It has got good suction, should work.  You might have to take the small nozzel off, depending on the size of the bug.

**Q: didnt they miss a trick by not having the motor blow out too? would mean u could just point, press blow and get rid of it right?**
A: Yes, I always think this would be useful.  Flies, wasps etc. will fly out on their own when you release them, but spiders tend to cling to the mesh at the handle end of the tube.  I would gladly pay a bit more for one of these which could blow as well as suck.

Oh Boy!!! This bit of kit is great!! As soon as it arrived, I put it to work. 2 long legged spiders, 2 flies, one honey bee, all safely sucked up and released outside within 10 mins! So glad I bought this as I've always felt guilty sucking up spiders etc with the house vaccuum , as they don't survive that. And if you happen to have a bit of a phobia about insects, I think this is a great piece of equipment for removal of those creepy-crawlies without stress. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not much suction but can catch spiders.

It did manage to help me catch a spider that otherwise would have been inaccessible, the length really helped catching the pictured spider (which was wedged in the corner of the ceiling) but the suction didn’t seem to have any effect and even just feeling with my hand I didn’t feel much power from the hoover. To catch the spider I had to get the tube around it and then jiggle it around until the spider fell in since the suction wasn’t strong enough, but I’ve only tried it once so far so maybe on a different type of spider it might be able to pull it into the tube. So it has proved useful, and I appreciate having a cap to seal the spider in until it can be released, but do get it bearing in mind the suction won’t help and it’s strength is to reach high places for smaller spiders.
