Is this true Plug/Play adapter? I cannot install any drivers on my work computer. It is locked. I have win 10 Pro.

I think Windows 11 may have a native driver for it. I don't remember if I had to install the driver when I plugged it into my PC running Windows 10 Pro. I recently moved it to another computer I was fixing for someone which was also Windows 10 Pro but did not have the latest updates. That computer required me to install the driver for the adapter. I'm guessing if your computer is part of a corporate network and is managed by an I.T. group they likely won't allow you to alter your hardware anyway. If you're looking to upgrade your wireless adapter, I think most adapters will require a driver installation. You probably should download the driver and install it on your computer. If the driver software installs on your computer, then buy the adapter and just plug it in. This is the only advice I have for you. I can't tell you for sure whether this will work in your situation.

What are the max speeds for the wifi 6e adapter on 6ghz for a single device?

The adapter I bought is AC600 and it doesn't do 6e. It does max out at 400Mbps. I got it to help keep an old Win7 laptop alive a bit longer.
