If you've ever owned a flight jacket this is the same weight off leather. It's not like a First Gear jacket. The leather is thinner and is advertised as thatIt smells of plastic bag but dosen't stink. The sleeves are designed to be long and are suitable for stretched out arms on a motorcycle.It also comes with removable armor in the arms shoulders and back. It has a nice kidney support and buckles to adjust the waist.It's a nice jacket overall.
