I purchase these panels to dampen the sound for the neighboring classroom, we have a partition wall from the 1970s that no longer works but allows all sound to travel through. The dampening panels do work for dampening background noise of students fidgeting and it dampened the neighboring teacher but it did not soundproof. It is an improvement. My only complaint is that several times did not adhere properly and I used gorilla glue to reinstall.

I purchased several bundles of these to soundproof 4 private booths. The tiles were listed as gray but came with a slightly bluish tint, which I did not mind. When I ran out of tiles I reordered the exact same product. However, the second order of tiles were a noticeably different shade of gray with no bluish tint. I am returning them and ordering another bundle. Hopefully this second reorder matches my original order of tiles. I can't have different color tiles in the same room. Once I received the second bundle of tiles I will update my review with the results.The panels themselves work very well at reducing echoing within in a small space. They also do a decent job of reducing noise from adjacent spaces, although they do not block out the sound entirely. I had no problem with the tile staying stuck to the walls, but the adhesive was not as a high a quality as other sound panels I have purchased. I also had multiple tiles that were not cut the same size as the rest of the bundle, so I had to trim some to make things square.

My wife is branching out and creating a new vocal lesson studio (The Music in Me) and I’m in charge of sound proofing. The sound proof stick-on squares were perfect and quiet.
