Wonderful
Easy read. Loved the story line and the characters. I couldn’t put it down. I read it in 2 days. I can’t wait to start another book by this author.

Good story
This book was well written and had a lot of very interesting characters. Only one thing kept it from being a great book. I felt that all of the characters needed to be more involved in the story. I met them, got interested in them, and then did not hear much more about them as someone else took their place. I was left feeling that I did not get to know much about Holly and Sonny. Even Rock and Liz were left dangling without much depth to their story. It left me wanting more but in an unsatisfying way.

Very good
This is a very good book that lets you peek into the lives of the inhabitants of a small southern town. Where sweet tea is the drink of choice along with a good meal and of course all that small town gossip.

Wonderful book
This book is a must for fans of Jan Karon’s Mitford series. Each book in the series has a small mystery. Very cozy book and perfect for reading under your favorite blanket with a hot cup of sweet tea. I highly recommend not only this book….but all of Glenda’s books.

Happy to discover this series!
I am so glad I discovered this gentle story of romance, mystery, and small, southern town charm. Glenda Manus makes no apology to any who might think she’s not politically correct with her definitely Christian, church going, hospitable, characters. They live out the good life God intends for his people in the small, fictional town of Park Place, South Carolina. Her hero, Rev. Rock (short for Rockford), a great example of the best kind of caring pastor, is a delightful character, and so is Liz, an interesting widow who falls for this bachelor. I will not soon forget the characters of Park Place and hope to follow them in later books in this series. I happily recommend Sweet Tea and Southern Grace, the first book in the series, and give it five stars.Elva Cobb Martin

Life according to God
A simple life and a simple formula lead the reader into friendships with colorful, but loving characters who interact with their small town and their daily circumstances guided by their young minister and by their faith. Scriptural references which introduce each chapter connect the reader with the premise that God is in charge and his people are good. This story is inspirational and simple, with no pretense of being angry or sensational. In light of the violence and incivility in our real world today, it is nice to follow the words of Glenda Manus as she introduces us to likeable friends and and a charming community where God's word is acknowledged.

Delightful book!
I really enjoyed this book! The characters are rich with Southern charm. The stories about each person are sweet, Christian stories that are hard to find any longer. A thoroughly delightful read!

Great Southern Story
Small communities all over the country have their special people in them as in this story. There are always those who disagree but when some event happens either good or bad the folks in the community pull together for the good of the group. Glenda has captured this concept well in her story about Park Place.
