These lights are great value for money. 9 different modes and a 6 hours on 18 hours off built in timer if you wish to use that function. The lights are bright enough and have a beautiful, true warm glow. Comes with an instruction booklet, very easy to follow and use. The battery compartment is well-designed and constructed with an easy to open and close flap, no screwdriver required. So pleased I purchased these lovely lights after doing plenty of searching. The lights are good quality and I think they will last a good while. Will purchase another set.

Really pleased with the lights. They are ideal for putting inside a lantern. They came with batteries and delivery was fast. Definitely value for money. Perfect length.

EDIT: Following the review below, the seller has sent a new product. I will have to say that they were very quick to do so following my review and have tried to stay in touch in order to ensure that the new product was working well and that I was satisfied. I've amended my rating as a result, as that was good customer service, albeit only after receiving a less than favorable review.With regards to the product itself, it works very well, the fairly lights have added a unique touch to my room and are perfect for a relaxing night. Bought them a couple of months ago and only managed to set them up over the weekend. Saturday they worked as i installed them, then by Saturday evening (after only about 3 min of use earlier in the day), all dead! nothing that could be done. Cue frustration and genuine belief that maybe they had just drained the batteries. Sunday I bought a new set of batteries and lo and behold - quick flashing light and they're not working at all. Very disappointed in the product, I would steer away.

Bought them for some twigs I had on the landing. Work well. Easy to operate the different modes. Nice warm sparkling lights. I would buy them again

I bought these Koo lights after spending a lot of money over the years with lightsforfun (where every set had a fault), so I’m hoping for better with this set.I put them out on two small bay trees yesterday, and the wires seemed sturdy and the lights were plenty to cover the tree. They are a very nice and natural looking shade of warm white. And they seemed to have survived the torrential rain that fell. The timer works as well, switching off when it said it would, and switching itself on tonight.Can’t speak to battery power, as we haven’t had them more than 2 nights.I just wish that the people who design these lights put the first option as ‘static’, they always put those mad blinking options as the upfront choices and you have to click your way through trying to find the static option.The short of it: fast delivery, a sturdy set of lights that survived torrential rainfall, and has a nice shade of warm white. The timer works as it should.

I can't comment on the timer function as I've not used it yet. These lights do not come with a remote control, just in case anyone is wondering. I received the set of two strings of lights yesterday. I set them up and initially both sets worked. Once tested I switched them both off, however one set turned itself back on and wouldn't switch off. I opened the battery case to remove and re-install the batteries, just in case that was the issue, and on closing the battery case the clasp snapped off (I see this has been commented on before). So, this set of lights now work when they feel like it, i.e. sometimes they work and sometimes they don't, and I have to use an elastic band to keep the battery box shut. The one set that does work looks lovely, but I've yet to have to reopen that battery case, I suspect the clasp won't last long again. All in all, for the price it's not worth the gamble you'll be taking.

Die Lichterketten sind perfekt, um gemütliches Licht zu zaubern. Ich habe zwei um die Terrassentür im Esszimmer und es ist dennoch nicht zu hell, sondern genau richtig. Ich empfehle jedoch die mit Fernbedienung zu nehmen, um flexibler zu sein. Dadurch, dass man die Lichterketten auch im Freien verwenden kann, ist der Anschaltknopf im Inneren und man muss die Batteriebox jedes Mal öffnen. Klar, die Ketten sind mit einem Timer ausgestattet, was super ist, so sind sie aber z.B. nicht morgens an oder leuchten mit 6 Stunden zu kurz, wenn man länger wach ist.

Ljuset denna slinga levererar är riktigt tjusigt. Har stoppat in slingan i en dekorationsglob. Batteriboxen är ordentligt tätad med en gummilist. Slingan känns riktigt gedigen. På och avstängning av timern sitter inuti batterilådan. Men Amazon,s produktbeskrivning är något förvirrande. Det står med stora bokstäver 2 m slinga, men det visar sig vara 2 slingor på 5 meter i förpackningen. Oavsett vilket så är jag nöjd. Jag har för säkerhets skull köpt Lithium-batterier för att vara säker på att batterierna räcker riktigt länge.Långtidstest:Nu har jag haft dom igång i 2 veckor med timer. 6 timmar på, 18 timmar av varje dag. Jag använde AA lithium batterier som kan köpas i de flesta affärer. Och efter 2 veckor så har dom mörknat så mycket att nästan inget ljus återstår. Av det kan man dra slutsatsen att man inte kan räkna med mer är 2 veckors batteritid om man använder dom absolut bästa batterier som finns. Använder du vanliga alkaliska batterier så får du räkna med kortare livslängd än så.

I waited until after Christmas to write this review. These lights are Fabulous ! My husband and I are getting up there in age and doing all the cumbersome lights outdoors is getting to be a bit too much for us but I Love Christmas and thought of my home with no lights was awful so I searched for battery powered lights with timers and found these on Amazon. The reviews were very good so I bought six sets (they come two sets in a box). I placed them outside, in my artificial poinsettias, my window boxes, my mailbox swag and indoor and outdoor wreaths and in my windows that are facing the street and they looked Wonderful! They were Bright White ( not that LED Blue cast that I hate ). You can pick any combo you like, Flashing, Twinkle, Steady etc.The ones I put outside I placed the battery packs in Zip Lock bags as one reviewer suggested to keep the battery pack holder dry. The day I planned to turn them all on I picked a time. They stay on for six hours at a time. I set mine all to turn on at 5:30 PM. that made them go off at 11:30 PM which was late enough. All you do is pick the light combo show you want, flick the switch to Timer and you're all set. No muss, No Fuss. They were great. They came on and went off at the same time each day. Better than that you can't ask for. The biggest expense was the batteries. Each set takes three batteries. I bought Duracell batteries and I never needed to change them and they ran everyday from Thanksgiving weekend until January 4th. I plan on buying more sets to put outside next season.
