110V 2.2kw VFD Spindle Package Kit for CNC Router | 110V 2.2KW VFD,2.2KW Φ80mm ER20 Water Cooled Spindle Motor, Water Pump, 80mm Clamp, 5m Water Pipe

Everything works great. Changing the different parameters was easy enough as most of them are correct from the factory. I setup communication through RS485 and haven't had any issues. The included water pump feels extremely cheap and doesn't include enough tubing or the correct fittings to attach the tubing to the pump. Would have been better if the kit just skipped the water pump altogether honestly.

Well packaged. Decent install instructions.Bought better quality water lines, a CW3000 chiller and a double shielded VFD to spindle cable. Run about 60 hrs for far including an 18 hr continuous job. Never got over 7 degrees about room temp. Works great and so much quieter than a spindle.

Purchased March of 2025 so after only 9 months of use the collet nut seized to the spindle threads. Went on smooth as normal but suddenly will not come off. This while we are fulfilling Christmas orders.

Not out of box ready. You will have to buy a cable to connect spindle to VFD. It comes with a 4 prong connection however you will have to solder wire to connector and then connect wires to VFD. You will also need to buy a cable to connect VFD to the 110 outlet. It also comes with a metric coupler, you will have to order a 1/4 coupler insert to accept 1/4in bits.You may have switch some wires when connecting to the VFD if the spindle goes in reverse. It does not come with wrenches. However the water pump and hose is included.I would have given it a 5 star rating if they would have had a wired and soldered cable along with wrenches and a 110v cable. I had to do research to oder what was missing.

this spindle is good one for a Hobbie machine I did not want to write a review until I had run a few pics of wood and I ran oak. cherry, walnut and it did a good job, the only thing is there no wrench with the packet. you have to order the by them self, which is Exter $20 on top of the total price

DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT HOOK UP PIN 4 ON THE SPINDLE TO THE EARTH GROUND NEXT TO THE UVW.i have wired dozens and dozens of drives in my years as an industrial electrician. we always hooked up the ground on a three phase motor. if you do that with this one you will need a new drive. you can ground it using the incoming power ground as long as you do not use the little painted red screw terminal labeled earth ground.

I’m happy with this so farThe cooling fan for the electronic is noisier than the spindle motorI don’t have any issue with grounding the motor and earth ground to the green screwI’m going to put a visual flow indicator in the cooling lineIf the motor is turning the wrong way just switch 2 of the 3 motor leads just like any 3 phase motor

Works great at a good price. The manual is awful, but there's lots of help on YouTube. You need to know how to solder-up the aviation connect and be sure to use shield cable.
