It’s a door strike
I used this for my door. As a door strike. It works. It’s did not work for a moment but I had installed it on the wrong spot. All good now

Do not order...
If you can use the screws that come with the plate your OK.But if you need any other screws. Say 2"inch or 3" inch orlonger. They have to be special order.The screw heads of normal screws. Are to small for the hole opening.Of the plate.

Striker is a Perfect Fix
The person who installed the original striker did not align to the door properly and the door never closed properly until this new striker was installed. The key, is the screw holes to secure this striker are in different locations than the standard striker allowing the proper alignment and adjustments with fresh new screw holes.
