NT WIFI This is Bluetooth unless us set up a phone as a modem
It is a deception to call this WI fI and that is why I bought it.Instructions are Chineses vaige pigeon english ands skip steps. A chinese puzzle.Googling for info us useless. After many tries I got it to connect to the android app.It is a bluetooth connection.If you setup a phone as a modem then it is WIFI through the phone, but you can not use the phone or take it beyond 7 meters.STUPID !The alarm is loud.You need clear Double sided Tape to stick the sensor in place. The white foam tape provided is not waterproof. Dumb !Powered by two small AAA batteries, should be a hint that this is not a serious alarm.APPLets you set alarm volume, Pointless.Alarm delay . Yes I want to know 10 minutes after the flood starts.The App "Smart Life" tells you the battery capacity. Battery life is about 5 to 8 30 second alarms.Dumb not to have an AC adapter option for an alarm.So I installed one, with a DC 1.3mm jack and a 4.0VDC 500MA wall brick. Could not find a 3.0 v.Has two modes, Well hidden.A switch is inside.Sensor will detect water level rising mode, Like a tub overfilling orWater level falling mode. Like evaporation of a fish tank.

Instructions complicated. I like idea of product. Batteries have to be replaced often.
Didn't have option to call tech support.

Not worth the headache
The only way you’ll ever know your house is flooding is if you have the App open. No email or text option. Good for monitoring lights but useless in a real emergency.
