P.O.W. The Escape (Special Edition) [Blu-ray]

As a David Carradine fan I want to ow as many of his movies as I can get my hands on. Amazon has made that easier than I would have imagined. I love this movie. It was MUCH better than I expected it to be. The entire experience, from ordering thru delivery was excellent was wonderful.

The 1986 Golan Globus production starring David Carradine “POW: The Escape” is an enjoyable military thriller. Carradine plays an airborne colonel during the Vietnam War. He feels strongly that no soldier should ever be left behind. He leads men into a battle to rescue some POWs and is captured. The Vietcong captain running the prison camp tells him he will help the colonel escape if the colonel takes him along. It later becomes clear that the captain wants to go to the US with many gold bars he collected. The colonel refuses. He insists that he would only flee the prison camp if all the prisoners go with them. The captain finally agrees.The rest of the film shows some of the many difficulties the colonel and his men face as they run for their lives. One major problem is an American soldier who refuses to obey the colonel. He only looks after his own interests. Another problem is that during their rush to safety, the colonel and his men hear of a group of American soldiers surrounded by Vietcong. They need help. Although outnumbered, the colonel is unable to leave them behind.

Over due on DVD and Blu-ray disc I like to see for my collection.

reading online late summer for the on blu ray cant wait

I love the movie but the tape I received does not work. Amazon is really good about everything and who they deal with. I don't blame amazon for this at all.
