I decided to try these after suffering with a persistent case of cystitis that I’d had for over two weeks, however on two separate doctor visits I was found to have “no infection” so I was not prescribed any antibiotics. I had recently been on antibiotics in the last two months for the same issue, which did work, but this time I was left to suffer (if you’ve had cystitis, you know the pain)! I was really frustrated and each day my symptoms were still there, causing me huge discomfort and really affecting my life. I decided to do some research and found that ~60% of urine dip-tests come back negative, even when there is infection, which I definitely though was the case with myself. I found a blog post about D-mannose and how it was a life-saver, so thought it couldn’t hurt to try it. I’ve been taking it 3x a day for 3 days so far, and my symptoms have ENTIRELY disappeared, I’m amazed! I’m lowering my dosage to 2x a day now since I’m completely better and then plan to take it 1x a day for prevention after that. This stuff is amazing! A little pricey but honestly it’s worth it if you are struggling with cystitis and don’t want to be on antibiotics/can’t get antibiotics. The pills are a bit large, but I find they snap in half easily (I can also take them whole quite easily, so the size really hasn’t been a problem for me at all).

I've been buying dmannose from nature supplies (not on Amazon - their own site) ever since I discovered how miraculous it is for preventing and removing UTIs. People may be sceptical about how a simple natural substance can be so effective but I promise you it is and in my experience the relief is generally rapid, to say nothing of preventing the problem in the first place. I would heartily recommend it to anyone, male or female who has a problem with recurrent bladder infections as it is quick, easy and avoids things like antibiotics. One point to remember is that how well it works depends on the bacteria causing the problem. For a high percentage of UTI's, especially in women, this is E.Coli which D-Mannose is brilliant for removing. If you experience less positive results it is probably another there is another organism responsible or a mix of them meaning you may need antibiotics, a skilled herbalist (or homeopath) for another solution. When it is due to E.Coli you should find that this is amazing. Just add plenty of water to help the flushing out and good hygiene to help prevent recurrence. When you are prone to these, to my mind it's something worth keeping in the medicine cabinet.

I used to use D Mannose years ago, this is the first time in a while I have had a UTI that just wouldn't shift- and we all know how miserable that makes you feel. One day in and I'm starting to feel much better, I don't know how these work- they just do! I am taking 2 per day for now, and will reduce to one when everything is clear. The pills are large, but easy to break in half. Definitely worth a try if you suffer from cystitis / UTI's

They do work well, always seem to stave off a urinary tract infection for me. Just take them when I start to get symptoms

D Mannose has changed my life for the better. It is very effective. I make sure I am never without some at home. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

I don't want to give this five stars. I want to hate it and say it's rubbish - in case I jinx myself. After eighteen months of monthly UTIs and repeated courses of antibiotics which did my gut no good at all, I heard about and read up on D-Mannose. I even found what appeared to be a legitimate study that showed it should work against ecoli bacteria, the cause of 85% of infections in that area. It only works on ecoli infections. My consultant told my GP to give me a permanent low-dose daily antibiotic which I'm still taking though it was changed to another a couple of months after the start.. A month after beginning that course I got another UTI and then I tried D-Mannose as well as new antibiotic the GP gave me. It cleared. Since then I've been on two 1000mg D-Mannose nightly. Every four or five weeks I feel as if I'm starting with another UTI so I go on more or less maximum D-Mannose dose - 3 four hourly with water, etc. Each time, so far, it's cleared in under two days. Yes, I'm still taking the small does of antibiotic so I can't say for certain the D-Mannose is the cure, but I've not needed a full course of antibiotics since I began with D-Mannose. I really hope I've not jinxed myself because I don't want to return to the wildly unpleasant UTIs I was getting when I began. GP's advice needed if you're diabetic. Try it once. The science is there if you Google it. Edit a couple of weeks later. I did jinx myself. : ( I have a UTI that DM is not clearing. The first dose of antibiotics hasn't helped so I'll be contacting him again tomorrow.

Arrived on time and in perfect condition, but! I went on the Amazon recommendation and regret it. I don't like the large amount of plastic packaging for so few pills, the size of the pills are difficult to swallow and the quantity of fillers/other ingredients (beyond D-mannose) are unnecessary. I'll stick to capsules with a higher D-mannose content.

Uso D-mmanosa desde hace 3 años para tratar mi cistitis con bastante éxito. Siempre usé la misma marca pero en esta ocasión decidí probar esta otra porque era más barata. Mala idea. No me hizo para nada el efecto y mi crisis de cistitis se prolongó por mucho más tiempo. Yo no la volveré a comprar.
