Crusader Knight Wooden Shield (Large – Red/White) – Kids Accessory (Costume Accessory)

Bought as a present for my sword-fighting mad ten year old,I was very pleased with this wooden shield as it is a good size for older children. Most toy swords and shields are too small for his age group, but this seems just right. It would even do for an adult fancy dress costume and wouldn't look amiss.It seems well made with no rough edges, and has two plasticy-rubbery type straps or loops for the knight to slip his forearm through on the back, thus enabling said knight to secure it very well. I'd definitely buy again. Obviously, it is made of sturdy wood so if you have a knight who is liable to become over excited during battle and prone to bashing the enemy with the pointy bit of the shield, you may want to think twice before purchase. Sadly, I can testify from personal experience that this type of medieval battle-move is very painful....

Love this shield as it is so well made and a good price, never mind it's meant to be for children it looked a treat combined with my St Georges day outfit.Reviewed by Peter 63yo big kid

I bought this as a gift which then went off to Canada so didn't actually see the product unwrapped but the feedback has been great. Well made, good quality etc. Very happy.
