Yukon MPR Mobile Recoder for DNV Ranger Series

Works fine with my Hornet Digital Night Vision 28012 monocular. The battery specified for use with this player/recorder is the BST-33, but this battery is 5.0 mm thick,to thick for the battery cover to be closed, although the unit does work ok with it. The battery supplied with the unit is the KB-01, which is 4.5mm thick, and fits fine. Other than this, the unit does what I expect it to do. The Product Details say that 2 X AA batteries are required. The unit in fact uses a Li-ion battery pack, not AA batteries.

What a pile of rubbish....Purchased this to record footage from my night vision set-up, despite it being £80 more expense than other brands, I thought with it being Yukon it would be better quality, after reviewing it's basically the maplins angel eye with yukon badge stuck on. The unit kept freezing when out in field and would not start back up until plugged into mains, I had to remove battery to turn off, worst DVR I've had the pleasure of using. Speaking with people online, I've spoke with four other people with the same issue with this unit... keep away!!!!! Mailed Yukon, but no reply.... Just retuned today.

Well impressed, very compact,just what i needed. Struggled a little trying to understand the instruction manual however once you play around with it it's a handy bit of kit

my partner wanted and camera to record what he shoots and this works great nice and clear easy to use and works well with his night vision. mind you my two dead rats didnt think much of it.
