Coffee Table with Lift top dinning mode and Large storage area
This is a coffee Table with a large storage area under a dinning table top that pulls up and goes down with hydraulic arms. The "wood" is a type of MDF and any over tightening with a screw will result in a blown out area so do yourself a favor and glue every single screw. There is no work around for the wheels being not suited for carpet but I have been in contact with the seller and they seem to want to fix the issue plus it comes with feet you can screw in that work just fine or replace them with something different. What I am left with looks real nice and works as intended. After adding the aftermarket wheels and glue this is a great and versatile coffee table.

Solid 4 stars.
Overall, this was fairly simple to put together. The little instruction booklet has pictures with lettered parts to help differentiate them. It took me a little less than an hour to put together, but about half of that was removing the stickers and the staticy styrofoam that was stuck to it.Using an electric screwdriver on the lowest torque setting and a 10mm socket/ratchet was definitely a big help for this, but it does have all of the tools in the package that you'll need. The casters that come with it do have the scraping problem that some of the other reviews mention. Bending up each of the bottom tabs of the locking mechanisms is definitely necessary. The opening and closing of the pneumatic top is a little clunky, but it may just need some light adjustments to the nuts holding the arms in place.Pictured is a 17" laptop on top of the table at a couch for reference. I got this specifically for this purpose, and it ended up working out better than I was expecting. It's difficult to tell from the dimensions how it will size up for laptop usage without actually seeing it in person - but it works! When moving the table with the top up, it wants to tip toward the direction of the top. If you're doing that, I'd definitely be cautious. Especially with the whole caster tab situation. There were numerous spare pieces of hardware supplied, I'm not sure if that was intentional or not, but it did have me question whether I actually put all of the pieces where they were supposed to go.The table is fairly sturdy, even with casters VS the stationary feet that the send with. I definitely wouldn't try to dance on it, but I'm not worried about it falling apart anytime soon.As the title says: Solid 4 stars.

Wheel breaks rip at my area rug
Due to being made out of engineered wood, it is difficult to drill screws into it without cracking the veneer. The base of the storage compartment is thin and was buckling under the weight of the junk mail piled up in there. To try to remedy this, I installed small l-brackets but the screws ended up damaging the wood. Thankfully, it's in an out-of-sight area. If I were to attempt this fix again, I would use adhesive l-brackets instead. Also, the wheel breaks --the levers which stop the wheels from moving-- are too large proportionate to the wheel size. They stick out post the wheel. So, at at any position other than one parallel to the floorwill tear at my area rug. Plus, they move out of position on their own. Thus, when wheeling around, I have to listen carefully to ensure this isn't happening.Life expectancy of this product 2-5 years, with 5 years for people who are extra careful with their things. I may be replacing mine between year two and year three.

Great quality
We’ve had this table for about a year and it has still held up good, despite our toddler pulling on it. I like that it has storage within it as well. Pulls to the perfect height for our couch too

For the price, not too bad but one major flaw
This really isn't bad for the price... $70 or $80, and I figure it will last a year to 3 years. We had 2 pieces of wood split when we were putting it together, but it doesn't matter when you have some fast drying wood glue. As for the videos that show the top dropping off centered, just be sure to follow the directions and even try it out before screwing all the screws in. I also had better luck attaching the hinges to the frame before the lid and using a skinny screwdriver to screw in the lid. ONE MAJOR FLAW: The wheel locking mechanism will scrape the floor or catch on a carpet when it is not locked. I took a picture of it. I just took a pair of vice grips and bent up the ends so they weren't scraping the floor. But this is almost a deal-breaker. We just renovated our house, and thank God I caught it before we had big gouges in our new floors. If I couldn't rig this up, I would have sent this back right away.Again, not bad it you were to use the feet. It's not that hard to put together... About 45 min. Solid 4 star for the price.

Cheap Garbage
THIS IS A CHEAP AND FLIMSY PIECE OF GARBAGE. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.They sent us the wrong color, espresso instead of red-brown. Okay, whatever. They shipped it UPS, so it was guaranteed to have some damage, and it did. The top & bottom corners were smashed in and broken, but hey, putty & stain can fix that. But beware the illustration for the top installation - it is backward!!! (I worked in metal fab and architecture for 30 years, so please heed my warning.) It looked like a good drawing, but 28 screws later, I found out it was backward.Pictured is my finished product.
