PowerTec 91488 Stripe Off Disc with Shank

Brilliant, very easy to use and full feels all what the manufacturer says.

I bought this wheel to remove the double-sided tape that was left behind when I removed the plastic body trim that was beginning to come away from the car doors. I was a little skeptical as I hadn't used one of these before. Some of the adhesive tape just peeled away but the majority of the tape was left behind on the car panel. I did try removing this with a fingernail but didn't get anywhere fast and then used this wheel. I put the wheel in a battery Dewalt drill and gradually increased the speed, initially it worked ok but once the wheel was a little roughened it easily remove the residual adhesive tape without damaging the underlying paintwork. For this job the wheel worked really well, saving me a lot of time and risk of damaging the paintwork.

First class product and first class service

Really works. Used it on a cordless drill as I was concerned about it getting hot and burning the paint. A bit time consuming but does work. I used on a thick italian flag stripe down the sides of my fiat 500. I did one side with this and the other using boiling water. The boiling water side was quicker but left a thick black dirty mark around the edge so used this to remove that.Only downside apart from soeee is the bottom red colour of the stripe has bled into the paint and although faded, still shows. I don’t know whether it was the heat of this that did it. The side I’ve used boiling water for is fine.Wears down relatively quickly. It wouldn’t last for another car but will be handy for odd bits of glue. For the price, I’m glad I got it.

I have used this before when I used to work in a car body shop.It is good for getting stuff off like foam backed tape left behind when you take a door moulding off or badge on a car without damaging the paint work I’m using to take the glue off that’s left behind from the weights when you have your wheels balanced

I just received this and used it right away to remove some stickers advertising the garage we bought our van from. I'm over the moon with the result!It's very easy to use, I used my battery powered drill not to be too powerful. I'm not sure how some other reviews say it removes paint because it's very gentle unless they used unnecessary force on it.I found myself finishing the stickers, and going round the van removing all spots of old glue residue (probably from previous company stickers) and I'm very happy with the result.Afterwards, softly brushed the dust away and wiped down with rubbing alcohol as the tool leaves some residue. Looks awesome now.Overall, I'd 100% recommend this!

Bought this to help remove a roof protector that was put on to protect against scratching, when Learner Headboard was fitted, in hindsight better to have a few scratches.It did the job but took an awfully long time, a lot of effort and peeling, trying to grab bits with fingernails to peel in small pieces. Probably would have pulled all my hair out had I not bought it, so it was useful. I was just hoping it would all come off easier. Didn't cause any damage and did what it says so on that basis would recommend.

Este disco está pensado solo para quitar los restos de pegamento que quedan despues de quitar un vinilo, si lo utilizas para quitar el vinilo en si os quedará una marca amarilla y luego diréis que el producto no funciona o va mal, dicho esto, quité todo el pegamento del techo del coche y pude hacerlo solo con un disco, también decir que no hace magia y tienes que estar dándole con el taladro un ratito....

Great stuff. Works like a charm. You just have to use it gently, with gentle pressure and results are perfect.

Parfait pour enlever les résidus de colle après retrait des plombs sur les jantes alu. Ne surtout pas utiliser sur du plastique, tel q un par choc peint car ça chauffe donc vous êtes assuré d enlever la peinture et de fondre le par choc.

bon produit conseiller d'un ami.je n'ai pas essayer le produit sur de la carrosserie mais sur mes jantes de motos pour enlever les traces de colle des équilibrages = superbe ! mes jantes nickels sans trace ! par contre je ne vous cacherais pas que j’hésite à faire ça sur la carrosserie j'attends de voir des essais sur d'autre véhicule :-)
