Visu-Filter 3/16in.-1/4in. Large Capacity Fuel Filter FF704C

The original search was for a 3/16" fuel filter to fit a fuel tube with a 3/16" inner diameter. This one came up near the top of the search, and was quoted as '3/16" 1/4"'. I sent off for it on the assumption that it must fit both (some filters have snap-off sections to accommodate different diamter tubes). It doesn't. Although the invoice repeated '3/16" 1/4"', the label on the packet clearly stated just "1/4"'. There's no way it will fit my 3/16" tube, even with a little heat applied. The description is misrepresentative. It's a straight 1/4" filter, and nothing else. You can buy these anywhere.So it was returned - with some hesitation, as the postal charge was almost the same as the item cost. The seller then docked another $1.64 from the refund to recoup their own mailing costs, even though shipping was quoted as free. So, a lot of hassle - and I STILL don't have the filter I need. Not impressed!
