I got this for a Christmas present for a kindergartner and I can tell that she will love it! So happy to find a Barbie with glasses, and portraying a teacher. I love the idea of making school fun through play, and maybe even inspiring her to grow up to be a teacher.Although I have not opened the packaging, the doll and accessories are clearly visible and appear to be the typical quality for Barbie toys.Everything is exactly as shown in the picture. The student doll has molded plastic hair (as opposed to brush-able hair like Barbie’s), but it does appear she can bend at the waist (so she can sit) and raise her arms. Her dress is fabric. This set will not only allow the child to “play school” as it’s designed, but the accessories are also very versatile, allowing for plenty of other play scenarios.Considering the typical retail price of the dolls and accessories sold separately, I do feel this is good value. It’s also “substantial size” for the money. I don’t know how many times I’ve given a toy as a gift and although I spent plenty on it, I felt like l looked stingy because the toy just didn’t look like much. This teacher Barbie set is a nice size for a child to unwrap and feel like they got something significant. I’m confident I’ll get a big smile on Christmas and she’ll have hours and hours of constructive and imaginative play.My only complaint is the cardboard on the package I received was bent up and crushed in a few places. I was disappointed about this because 1) it makes it look like I’m giving a used toy and 2) the background art in the box is cute and I was hoping to be able to make a little cardboard stand for it so she could use it as her classroom wall. However, the damaged package is an Issue with the distribution chain, not the toy itself, so I didn’t deduct any stars.

I bought this for my niece for Christmas. The look of the Barbie and child reminded me of her and her mom. She was 2 1/2yrs old at the time, so the little girl was a great representation of her size compared to her mommy. The main Barbie actually looks like her daycare teacher as well, which was another plus considering it is a school set. She had actually just recently graduated into one of the older kid's rooms, so she definitely understood and was excited about the school theme. I love the overall uniqueness of the Barbie and the kid in this set. I like how Barbie came with glasses, too.This is a nice set because it gives you enough in one set to start pretending and playing right out of the box rather than with just a regular Barbie. This set is made well and is a decent size for gifting. There's not a ton going on with it, but plenty of playability for a single set with 2 figures. My 7yr old daughter was happy to give this to her cousin, but definitely wanted these same sets for herself, too.🤷‍♀️

This was a great set and all the products inside the package were as described. However, the package was opened and taped back together. If you are giving this as a gift, just be aware it may not look brand new.

Very sweet set. So cheap and the girls love it. It's not just a Barbie doll, it also has a small student... Very enjoyable

Since my 7 year old granddaughter is loving school, this was a fun Barbie for her. She immediately set up the little props and played teacher. I would add that this child has just about every toy she might ever want so finding a good gift can be a challenge. This one worked!
