A cozy paranormal mystery with a sassy protagonist! What fun!
A fun paranormal witch romp through the hidden town of Hidden Haven. Camille finally has a relaxing vacation on the beach when she is transported to snowy, cold Hidden Haven a town her grandfather founded. Hidden Haven is hidden from non magic people as long as at the Christmas Ball, the special wand that guarantees the town stays hidden for another year is placed on the Christmas Tree at the special Christmas Ball. Now it is missing! Camille hasn't been back to the town for years and now her grandfather has summoned her to help find the wand in time for the town to be able to stay hidden another year. She is to be helped by the town sheriff who just happened to have been hexed into a dog named Ethan and he talks. Why would someone want to steal the wand and have the town discovered? Finding the origin of the want might tell them, and even though Camille's grandfather knows the story, he won't divulge. There are so many laugh out loud moments during Camille and Ethan's search for the wand beginning with her arrival in the snow wearing only a ball gown and wondering what in the world is going on! This was so much fun to read and Camille and her sassy personality was fun to follow! I received and ARC but the opinions expressed here are strictly my own.

Delightful Christmas magic!
A delightful and intriguing mystery with an enticing Christmas theme. I love Christmas books and have become a big fan of books by Cate Lawley so Bewitch Christmas was a double must buy. Camille is not the least bit thrilled when she is magically pulled to the hidden town her grandfather founded. Snow, cold, a ball gown and a grandfather she hadn't seen in decades were not part of the beach side vacation she had planned, neither was saving the magic community. Neither were the glass slippers or the wand that she is entreated to find, a wand that the town needs to stay hidden. While Camille's only desire is to continue her much needed sunny vacation unfortunately, until the wand is found, her only way out is by dog sled and that isn't worth a second thought! If the only way is forward, them forward she will go, but she doesn't have to like it, or the Labrador sheriff or all the interested people of the community. She doesn't have to, but can she resist.

Camille is zapped away
Camille is zapped away from the beach to Hidden Haven to help solve the mystery. A hexed Ethan who is currently in dog form is just one of the cast of characters we get to know. I really liked following the clues along with Camille and Ethan. There are twists and turns, secrets revealed, family reconciliation and the mystery solved and of course a little romance. Great ending,

Loved
Short novella. Camille is zapped to a hidden town for witches only. She helps her grandfather and the entire town by finding the missing wand that keeps the town hidden. This takes place in 1999.

nice Christmasy who-dun-it
Nice read. It didn’t reach out & grab me in the first few pages, but it was enjoyable. I liked Grampa.

3.5 stars
"Bewitched Christmas" by Cate Lawley offers a delightful and intriguing mystery woven with an enticing Christmas theme. As a fan of both Christmas books and Lawley's works, this was a double must-buy. The magical pull that brings Camille to a hidden town sets the stage for an engaging narrative. While the story holds promise, it left me wanting more depth in character development and a bit more exploration of the magical elements introduced. Nonetheless, Lawley's writing style shines through, making this a recommended read for those seeking a mix of mystery and holiday magic. A solid 3.5 stars for the charm and the festive allure of "Bewitched Christmas."
