This pack of 260 tablets is not only a great value but also incredibly effective. I bought as replacement cleaning tablets for my Sage/breville Barista express 870, proving excellent value for money compared to paying over the odds direct from machine manufacturer. I was a little skeptical at first as it contains 2g per tablet, which is slightly more/bigger then the 1.5g supplied with the machine, however it worked perfectly; fully dissolving within the standard clean cycle with no over pressure on the gauge. I placed the tablet on the cleaning disk inside the single walled single shot filter basket. I placed a jug underneath and put the remaining filter baskets in the jug, before commencing the cycle. The tablets effectively cleaned both machine and filter baskets, stripping away the oil deposits left from the coffee. They functioned perfectly and I would not hesitate to recommend them over the overtly expensive manufacturers tablets. Only negative is if you drop the pot on the floor the lid will come off and tablets will go everywhere by experience, although the pot did survive the impact. Disclaimer: I purchased these tablets at full price but have been offered further complimentary product in exchange for this review, this has not changed my honest opinions of the product expressed here. I will continue to use this product for the life of my machine, which I cherish dearly and would not use what I deemed to be an inferior product in.

The tablets do work for removing lime scale from my kettle. There is no after flavouring of the water providing you rinse the kettle three times and boil water once and dispose of that first boiled water. The tablets claimed to be stronger, however, to have the same effect as the blocks that this company produces, I must use 4 tablets instead of 2 blocks. The tablets are easier to use than the blocks and are value for money. Please see attached photograph, which shows 4 tablets in hot water cleaning my kettle after 30 minutes waiting, and you can see that the water is translucent and it is not possible to see how effective the tablets have been in lime scale removal, where as the blocks have clear water after 5 minutes and you can see how effective the blocks have been. There are no instructions for the use of the tablets, such as how many tablets per volume of water should be used, or what the approximate temperature the water should be for descaling, and no length of time for descaling. In conclusion I prefer this companies blocks for descaling, although they have greatly increased the price of the blocks from the last time I purchased.

Very good value coffee machine cleaning tablets. Gets rid of all the nasty, sticky, coffee bean oily bits making the cleaned elements produce decent tasting coffee again. Essential purchase to keep things working well.

Updated: To be fair to the product it is not advertised as a descaler but a coffee machine cleaner degreaser. So ignore this review please Having bought this as a replacement for a proprietary brand de-calcification product (which neither I nor my wife could find in the house) - there are no instructions for use. I attempted to de-calcify a kettle with medium calcium. 1st attempt 3 hours with 1 tablet; 2nd attempt 3 hours with 2 tablets and 3rd attempt 12 hours with 6 tablets ..... no change at all. This invigorated our search for the original product which we eventually found .... at half strength it cleared the calcium in 30 minutes.

Bought this as a replacement to the ones I got from the machine's manufacturer. To be honest they work out much cheaper, last longer and I have not noticed any difference in performance or flavour. I run the machine's clean cycle using one of these and have done it 2x so far with no problems. The tablet dissolves completely in 1 cycle, like the manufacturers one, the little bit of water left in the portafilter's membrane is clear. I personally like to do a few primes after the cycle and swap baskets before brewing coffee so to me flavour was never impacted. I have not noticed any scale built up either after switching to these. So overall I do recommend, especially because the composition is very similar to the big brands composition.

Je ne pensais pas acheter ce produit pour ma machine à café mais après réflexion je me suis lancer et je dois dire que c'est parfait je ne pensait pas que ces pastilles allaient nettoyer si bien ma machine à café Siemens EQ500 intégral, maintenant chaque dimanche ma machine à droit à sa pastille pour un bon nettoyage (malgré un nettoyage hebdomadaire ce produit enlève beaucoup de résidues de café qui collent dans le tuyaux) et ils sont nettement moins chers que ceux de la marque siemens
