Moonlite Storytime Starter Pack Set: Projector and 4 Eric Carle Stories

I purchased the Moonlite Storytime Mini Projector for a friend’s daughter, who is just three years old, and it was an instant hit! To our amazement, she figured out how to use it before her parents did, which speaks volumes about its user-friendly design. She absolutely adores the stories and the novelty of projecting them onto the wall. It’s become her favorite activity; she’s always eager to turn it on and dive into a story. My niece, who also has one, looks forward to her storytime every night before bed, making it a cherished part of her routine. This mini projector, with its captivating Eric Carle stories and interactive features, not only makes reading fun but also encourages kids to engage with stories more actively. My personal favorite from this package is The Very Busy Spider. My daughter loves Brown Bear, and my son is a HUGE fan of The Very Hungry Caterpillar. This little story projector is great. I enjoy using it to change up our storytime a bit and my kids love pushing the sound effects buttons for me as I read. 100% would buy again. My only complaint is that each reel* can be a bit expensive. I DID just get a Pooh story (seeds of friendship) for $7.50, though, which is 1/2 off, and it's the best one yet because the story is actually decent in length for bedtime!

My 2 year old thinks it’s super fun. We read books with the projector at night before bed. Only negative is you have to pull the whole projector off your phone to change books at the end. The way it sits on an iPhone it blocks the exit X you need ti click to switch what book you are reading.

My nieces and nephews absolutely love it. I wish the app was a little more user friendly for those that don’t necessarily own a Moonlight projector, but want to read using the app. Apparently you have to register your own Moonlight projector to truly benefit from the neat app. But it’s really ok, it’s so cute, simple to use, and I really believe the little ones will love it. It’s fun and wonderful for everyone. Thanks for such a neat product!

I wanted to leave a review because I saw mixed reviews when I bought this. I was able to get a Little Tikes Dream Machine so I was actually going to return this because of the mixed reviews I read. I decided to keep it and give it to my daughter now instead of as a Christmas gift. My daughter struggles with having an attention span to sit through stories. She loves the Moonlite projector and wants to read the stories all the time! We read them so much that I am sick of reading the same stories over and over and I had to order more. There are so many stories available for this! There seems to be better deals on Moonlite’s website than on Amazon. It isn’t hard to line the projector up with the camera at all. Before the story starts they provide a grid to show where to clip it to your phone and to help line it up. The stories are on an app and they add music and sound effects to the background of the story. I definitely recommend this! My only concern is that if the flashlight gets moved on future phones then this product would be obsolete. Then I would have tons of stories and no way to project them.

If i could give this product more than 5 stars I absolutely would!!! LOVE this so much. It was a gift for a boy who loves these books!! As the pictures show on the wall or ceiling he would tell me the story. Simple to work and love it!

The idea of this is great, the app is great! However it doesn’t tell you to adjust the moonlight so the picture is clear I stumbled upon that. The biggest issue is that the whole picture doesn’t show, the pictures in the description shows clear crisp whole images but the fact is around the edges are sort of blurred/cut off. I tried adjusting the light, the story circle projectors themselves and they are too big for the light so the image doesn’t show. As soon as you go to click to the next screen you have to readjust the moonlight all over again. Great concept but it doesn’t work realistically.

My kids love this

It's very expensive. But my son (1.5 years) is going crazy about this projector and the books. He laughs and giggles and looks very excited. Even for adults this toy is mesmerizing. It has fantastic picture quality; the music and the sounds in the app are so sweet too. One small issue is that the projector is not large enough to fit over my phone from the top. I have to put it on sideways, but it makes it hard to read the text of the story from the screen.

The picture is NOT clear, no matter how I place the piece on my flash. It's easy to use but just doesn't show cleat pictures at all. Just little blobs of color. It's a great concept but the execution is lacking drastically. Especially for something so damn pricey. Save your money and buy a real projector!

Love the idea however I find the picture are not very vivid and clear for my 2 year old. Diffuly to hold the phone and read while pointing the story at the wall and holding it still. My older daughter (6) likes it
