The quality of the laser cut wood is great. Everything fits together with a nice click, much like a quality jigsaw.The instructions were easy to follow and the finished product has spurred me on to buy some more of these.Another reviewer mentioned blacking out the sections as you go and that proved to be a good tip. Once fit together and switching on the lights (that come with it) I could see that the light would leak a bit from wall joins. I simply placed some black electrical tape along the seams and it worked nicely. The overhead light was slightly too bright so I painted a small dollop of black paint on the bulb to reduce it all and it gave the scene a much more nuanced light and didn't overpower the shop/window lights.

The media could not be loaded.  My first full on build kit, I've only built lego up until now, and absolutely loved the challenge of this. Very hands on and crafty and each section was so exciting to build start to finish. Easy to follow instructions. Easy to find pieces. A little fiddly to put together but that's half the fun! The end product looks so amazing and it's such a unique piece to display on the bookshelf, always sure to bring up conversations. The only issue I have is that I now want to buy more!!

Small parts break easily. Have to be very carefull.

Great little kit that is fun to make, I made some changes to mine to make it more Harry Potter themed.Instructions are very easy to follow even though they look a little intimidating at first, even the lights weren’t to difficult to set up.Beware some pieces are incredibly fragile I ended up snapping a few and having to glue them back together, ended up using a glue gun as the pva just wasn’t strong enough and took to long to dry.

Was a present for my partner and she loves it! Very cute
