Great quality and looks great , I always wanted one of these in this colour specifically. Not disappointed & highly recommended.

I prefer my wooly hats more beanie-style -- snug to my head not pointing up into the air at the top, so it was a little disappointing that these were too tall. I understand others may like them that way and eveyone will have different sized heads (though mine is XL) so that's not the problem as much as the fact that the turn-up at the bottom can't really be changed to make it larger (and thus make the hat snug to your head) as the fold at the bottom is permanent. If you make a bigger turn-up, the fold will be visible halfway up the turnup (hard to explain this but you'll get the idea when you try it), which looks a bit daft. Would have been better to not have a permanent hard fold in the fabric at the bottom so that everyone can adjust the turn-up to suit their own head. Other than that though it's a great fabric, great colour and good looking design. Better than most. I am just very fussy about hats.

This is a very high quality beanie hat for women by Lakeland. It made me realise that often you do not need to splash a lot of money to have high quality clothing. The material of the beanie is soft and comfortable on my skin. It is also quite thick so helps to keep my head and ears warm even in the colder temperatures here in London. I really like the orange colour, it is bold and vibrant. Best of all, even after being washed several times, the colour hasn't faded and the quality is still super soft and comfortable.It fit as expected and is slightly stretchy so should fit everyone's head shape. Very well priced and I am happy with the quality. The logo is also well placed and doesn't stand out too much. Ordered the Lakeland Active Men's Birkett Ribbed Knit Beanie Hat in orange – and arrived within a day, simply packaged in a branded compostable bag with tags it is a very nice shade – almost a burnt orange look. I do like the thick ribbing and the weave seems very smooth making it super comfortable to wear, it also being a warm garment on the head makes it just perfect for this time of year. It doesn’t have a fleece lining like some but to be honest I have not found it necessary with this hat as it keeps the head nice and toasty. There is decent stretch in the hat making it suitable for most heads.Overall I’m very pleased with this beanie and it seems good value given the finish and quality on display.

Just love it and the colour was great

I have had a hat like this from Lakeland Active and it stands the test of time.What you get is a very attractive looking hat, a lovely ribbed knit which has the advantage of being stretchy to fit your head comfortably without losing it's shape.It keeps you plenty warm, it does great for the school run. It is in a very natural tasteful colour and has a good thick turn up.As I say when you're not wearing it, it maintains it's shape fantastically and although the Lakeland tab is a little big, I think it looks great on me.
