Upfront: I bought this for use with an iPhone 15 Pro (non-Max), and was lead by the description to believe that it would output 4K video from that device. As of iOS 17.0.x it does NOT. I get 2560x1440, 60Hz if the display supports that resolution, 1080p60 otherwise. Plugged into my sound system that will pass 4K, I was unable to get any picture at all; I'm guessing it reported to the phone that 2560x1440 was supported but the TV couldn't actually display that, so I just got a black screen. Now, it's entirely possible that this is a limitation of the particular device or the OS; I tried the cable on a Mac and got 4k60p, so the cable does appear to be able to be genuine HDMI2.0. But, if you read the product description as-written and expect to get 4K video out of an iPhone 15 Pro, you're not going to get that, at least as of iOS 17. Otherwise, no complaints: The cable feels thick and sturdy, the grip parts are apparently metal and feel very solid, the braiding is nice, and critically there's a BIG piece of very solid-feeling strain relief, so it seems likely to hold up to being flexed without separating. The tradeoff for this is that the USB-C connector is long and stiff, which combined with the thick cable seems like it'll put more strain on the port itself. The fairly long HDMI end (3" from end of the body to the end of the strain relief) could also have trouble fitting behind something with ports in the back that's close to a wall (a bare minimum 3.5" from the surface of the display to the wall for the cord to bend). A big plus (and the main reason I picked this one) is that the USB-C end is only a bit thicker and wider than the USB-C port itself, so if you have a phone case with a narrow opening for the port (which I do), it'll almost certainly still fit (I tried a hub with a fatter jack, and it ran into the case so I couldn't plug it in properly). In initial testing the HDMI end did seem to get warm quickly, but that may be a good thing--metal case getting heat away from the chip quickly (although ideal would be no heat at all, since any power being wasted in the conversion is going to hit the battery on a phone hard).

It was not what I needed as far as using it for my game system. But it is very useful for my phone. I use it to project phone screen onto my TV all the time. It's so wonderful with the extra length!

Does not support Samsung Galaxy A10+ even when I go into settings to the developer options and turned on USB debugging attempted to turn tablet off while connected. Turn back on no connection available….. not satisfied.

Le câble est d’une très bonne longueur. J'en avais besoin, car beaucoup d'applications déteste le miracast afin d'éviter le copyright ( c'est le cas avec Crunchyroll) , du coup ils mettent un écran noir lorsqu'on est en plein écran. Donc c'était LA SOLUTION pour moi. Cependant, il n’est pas toujours compatible avec tous les smartphones ( et c'est le cas pour moi x.x). J’ai pu le tester avec un Samsung, où il a bien fonctionné. En revanche, cela n’a pas fonctionné avec mon Redmi 13 Pro+. Apparemment, c’est un comportement assez courant sur les modèles Redmi, dont les ports USB-C ne prennent souvent pas en charge la sortie vidéo. Cela ne vient donc pas du câble, mais du téléphone. Les constructeurs privilégiant parfois la charge rapide au transfert vidéo par USB.
