As a ginger, I was surprised that this manged to keep me unburned during the recent heatwave in Paris (40+ with no clouds). It's extremely easy to apply and you can see that you have full coverage before you rub it in. It's a little greasy on your hands, but once it has dried into your skin, it's not greasy at all. This will be my go to sun block from now on. Highly recommended!

Excellent zinc based SPF50+ stick. Very easy to use, long lasting and completely waterproof. It works really well, especially on vulnerable areas. It does leave a white film but it's worth it

I am a horrible sweaty man. Other sunscreens make my skin feel like it's suffocating and result in a horrible slick that makes my sweating worse and runs into my eyes. Adding injury to insult, this means it lasts no time and I get burnt anyway. This stuff is decently long-lasting and doesn't make me feel like a slug in a sauna. Your skin will appear paler than with other sun protection applications but it's more comfortable and effective, so who cares. Would especially recommend for outdoor pursuits like walking and cycling.

Good for my purposes so I'm happy with it but I have to admit it's not my best look.

This stuff is extremely tenacious and stays on your skin very well. I use it for long sessions in/on the water and it's totally reliable. It's visible on your skin so you have no anxiety about whether you need to re-apply and completely blocks the sun. It's completely fine on your face and lips, has no taste and doesn't irritate your eyes all of which is excellent. On the bad side: It's expensive for such a small amount and I'm not sure if it's really providing an additional benefit over cheaper versions of the same type of product. Update after a few months use: I wrote the above quite soon after buying the product, a couple of months of heavy use down the line I don't think I was fair to it so I'm adding what follows. I bought some cheaper competitor products to compare whether this was decent value for money and that ended up raising my opinion of this product considerably. Although the competitors have the same amount of sunscreen for a less money this stuff is harder so it goes on better and spreads more evenly which means that you can cover far more skin with this than with the cheaper stuff. Overall I'm certain it's cheaper per application by quite a bit and it's a MUCH nicer product which is much more pleasant to use, is easier to apply evenly and lasts longer. I've gone from thinking it was good but expensive to thinking it's just flat out great and actually quite good value. Obviously you're not going to use it on your whole body but for your face and lips it's far and away the best product I've found.

Brilliant product, wish we had used this before! It was also useful over the top of some sunburn where I hadn’t used this product. It gave amazing protection so I could continue in the sun, when normally with sunburn you have to then keep out the sun. It’s extremely waterproof too.

This wasn't as user friendly as I'd hoped. Three stars for providing sun protection. Otherwise a tiny waste of money.
