I use these on quart mason jars to ferment hot sauce and sour kraut. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star is because it should tell you what size drill bit you need to make the hole in the cap.

Just what I needed

Only issue I had was one former broke after inserting the air lock several times. But they come with extra. I would recommend leaving the airlock in the groomer unless you have to remove for cleaning.Otherwise work great
