Glad I chose this one, Quality is great for the price, looks very stable and sturdy, rolls around very nicely, Overall feel is amazing, Seems like there is so much room, overall really happy with this buy and product, would recommend for the price, exceeds expectations honestly. The inside straps seem to have ok strength, zippers feel smooth, first impression definitely 10/10, color I pick was what I expected, Great choice

Great value and quality! The material is pliable, and not super thick, but it is durable. These look more expensive than they are. The rollers are great, they turn 360 so no awkward turns. Zippers are smooth and it has two handles- one on the top and one on the side. The inside is lined, it has two compartments, separated by a zipper flap and the flap has two zipper compartments for toiletries or whatever you want to separate! 100% recommend.

My old luggage was falling apart and I wanted something new in a hard side because it looks like my travel will be picking up for work this year. I had the Amazon basics recommended to me by someone else, so I figured I'd give it a try. The Value seems to be there, but I'd need to use it a bit before I know for sure. Of note, I got the small carry on (20") and the large packer (28"). Pros: - Both roll very well on the floor and carpet at home. The small one rolled around well when I was on a trip recently. - Inside is easy to organize, lots of room and useful pockets/holders. I fit a lot in the 20" - Expansion Zipper to make it bigger. - Light Weight - Handles are easy to use. Rolling handles lock in place for ease of use - Price (priced better than most similar bags, particularly the 2 pack combo) - There are feet on the side as well for side standing the bag on the ground. The Cons: - My old carry on back was 8" thick, and was allowed on some flights as carry one because it barely fit in the overhead. I'm worried the 10" stock thick carry on will be too thick on smaller planes with limited overhead space. This is before the expansion opening. - Hard shell is a little thin and has some give. A little more than I expected, though that could make it last longer. - I worry the handles aren't secure. They feel fine so far, but it's something I'll learn with use. - I'm used to bags like this opening in the top, not in the middle, so packing is a little bit different. - The zippers have stuck a little bit while it's new. I worry they may cause problems, though I'm hopefull that's just that they're durable and new, so they're stiff. This could be good as it also prevents them from opening randomly. - I'm tall (6'4"), and the extendable handle doesn't quite come up high enough for me. Sadly, this is a common problem not unique to this luggage. So, ultimately I'm happy with it in use, but I worry about durability and flight use for the carry on. We'll see how it holds up over long term use, as I'll be using the big bag this weekend, and have some international travel again coming up. So for now, it's 4 stars, and with extended use it could earn or lose a star or two.

I had to return them because they were very dirty. it seems it was saved a long time. However I had the same luggage before this and I loved it. The quality-price ratio is excellent

These have been on a couple of trips so far and have held up nicely, even as checked bags. Wheels swivel easily and they have a very large capacity. No dents or cracks to speak of. Fingers crossed!

This suitcase is not worth the money AT ALL. It's cheaply made and will fall apart within months. It's been under a year since I've purchased this item and I've brought the suitcase on a total of 3 trips with no rough usage. After my last trip, as I went to grab the suitcase on the conveyer belt of the baggage claim, I quickly realized the zipper had split open and the contents of the suitcase fell out all over the floor in the middle of a busy airport. I had to scramble to pick up my items, push them into the suitcase, and then drag the bag over to a wall until I could find a cart to load the entire mess. I would've taken a picture of the disaster in the airport if I wasn't about to be trampled by other people trying to get their bags off the conveyer belt. After somehow making my way home and going through my belongings to account for my possessions, I realized I was missing at least 4 different items - all worth between $60-$130 each. They had most likely fallen out of the suitcase at some point during the journey to my final destination. I reached out to Amazon for a possible solution and after being transferred to 4 different unhelpful representatives, was ultimately told that there was nothing they could do at this point (replacement or refund). Not only did I waste money on this product, I lost even more money on the items that this suitcase was supposed to safely transport. Do yourself a favor and purchase any other suitcase in the market.

I was hesitant at first, but, after much research and trial and error, returned to this Amazon Basics hardshell suitcase, finally convinced of my purchase. I ordered the lighter blue color initially, did not like it, and returned it. I then tried out multiple other brandname (and much more expensive) options, and found them to be no sturdier or any more rigid, or of any higher quality than Amazon’s. I finally returned to this product, in a less screaming navy blue color, which still allows me to spot my luggage from afar on the baggage claim belt (or let’s airline staff more easily locate it after they lost it again…) without hurting my eyes… And for less than the price of one 28“ luggage piece of the brandname options, I got an additional carry-on with Amazon Basics. Time will tell - but I don’t expect them to last as long as my softshell luggage, which after 25 yrs and about 1 million flight miles finally started to wear. However, at this price that would be ok if it doesn’t just break tomorrow. The extension handle is a little wobbly, as other reviewers have commented - something to watch regarding longevity. So there is room for improvement. The spinner wheels run smooth. I like the 4 wheel spinners which you can roll in any direction - my old softshell with 2 wheels could only moved broadside, not allowing me to roll it along the center aisles of the European high speed trains, which quickly becomes a hassle. The wheels stick out a bit far - which helps with luggage space on the inside, but I wonder if baggage handlers manage to snap them off eventually. They sure will try… A slight recessing of the wheels may be another improvement to consider. Finally one more „revolutionary“ idea: why does every hardshell luggage out there have two clamshell halves of exactly the same depth? Instead, make one deeper than the other to give you more flexibility in packing bulky items… duh. Otherwise, after a lot of research, I do recommend this luggage set . Good product, well worth the price.
