Gets the job done!
I was in serious need of rescue and fast! I had a wheel lug strip at the neck where it meets the wheel hub and the lug/lug nut just spun in place. This has happened to me before and luckily I already had good drill bits from the last time. Or so I thought… I broke not one but 2 titanium drill bits off in the lug, approximately 1/3” deep. I couldn’t work around the 2 spots due to the tight space within the lug nut so in desperation I searched the web for a possible answer and the rescue bit popped up several times. I received it in the mail and was anxious to see if it’ll help so I loaded the rescue bit in my corded high speed drill and went in. I was pleasantly surprised to see the fine metal powder collecting on the floor after just seconds of using it. After some time I felt perhaps the bit plateaued and wouldn’t cut anymore and thought perhaps it couldn’t get passed the broken titanium bits but then I remembered there’s a fresh cutting surface on the opposite side of the bit. After switching it I went back to it and the lug nut came off in minutes! Couldn’t be happier with tool because it really saved the day. Ok maybe just one request in the spirit of improving the design… if only the bit was a bit longer, perhaps just half inch, that would have helped even more. Other than that, money well spent for sure because it saved me money in the long run.

Very impressive.
The price sucks but it did exactly what I needed. It was able to tear through a broken extractor and the remaining bolt. I would buy again.

Broken Extractor.
Had two broken extractors in head bolts. Couldn't get it with a dremel. The bit would chatter once the compressor dropped below 120 psi. Had to run it high speed in a drill press with medium pressure until the extractor got hot and the bit went right through. At this point use very light pressure. Only take about an 1/8" to 1/4" of material at a time and let it cool down or it will be too aggressive and snap the bit. But it worked!!

Rescue bit Rescued my Engine
Broken bolt off on exhaust manifold on my Cummins engine but was rescued! Pulled manifold and drilled for an ease out when the bit went thru the broken bolt then broke! Tried drilling with other bits no luck. I ordered the Rescue bit and when it came in I called to get more instructions. He said run a high speed no lubricant and ream it out with little pressure It Worked! Ran 3 different taps to clean out the threads and assembled it back together. I called to let him know it worked and thanked him for his advise! Rescue bit did exactly what they advertise!

Eh.
I can see it working. But it didn’t. Ended up having to extract the broken metal a different way.

Rescued my A$$!!
Taking a cylinder bolt off a top cover for a Banshee motor and the bolt snapped. So I used my American made bolt extractor tool and that snapped. I thought I had to spend $400+ on a new case half but this cost $70 and to me, was worth the shot. I’m glad I tried it out. Dremel tool didn’t touch it. This ate through it in 5 minutes or less. Used it in my M12 fuel drill at high speed and cleaned the shavings out regularly. If you’re stuck and need to try something, give this a shot!

It's a beast
This bit is a beast. Used as directed to carve out an up side down broken mac- tools bolt extractor stuck inside broken off exhaust manifold bolt.Again. This is a beast. Just pulverized the hardened tool steel and remainder of the broken bolt when even my carbide burr bits where struggling.Highly recommend for real world applications.I did use it with a high speed die grinder and not a drill. So i have no experience using a drill.Works awesome and got me out of a huge jam.
